See Chel Post, I have tried to reason, to ignore, to yell. Nothing stops this horror. No where in any of our laws in this country does it say that i must believe that garbage she/he posts. She claims to be Christian but believe me she sounds like she is a muslim on a jihad. One poster in the Tolerance thread said, Bible, you sound like you want a gun to kill them. I warned her and she again posts her vile hatred of God and all things good. Monday morning I will call the Justice Department.
Peace,

Happy Saturday!! End of a long week, but prayers for brother were answered. Now to tidy up the week to put it in the memories box.
Found this and am spliting it to two post, it will make you smile.
Peace

Even God enjoys a good laugh.

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was
Black:
1. He called every one brother.
2. He liked Gospel.
3. He couldn't get a fair trial.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
1. He went into His Father's business.
2. He lived at home until he was 33.
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
1. He talked with His hands.
2. He had wine with His meals..
3. He used olive oil.

The prior posts were going to be my last as it said, but since Carol has decided to prolong this I must answer her.

I also believe there is a thing in the constitution called, "The freedom of speech". And this especially applies to religious and political speech.

This is a public forum. You don't own this forum. There have been no threats. I don't even know who you are.

Which law is it you think I've broken?

Continued:
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:
1. He never cut His hair..
2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
3. He started a new religion.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American
Indian:
1. He was at peace with nature.
2. He ate a lot of fish.
3. He talked about the Great Spirit.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments the Jesus was Irish:
1. He never got married.
2. He was always telling stories.
3. He loved green pastures.
But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it.
3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was work to
do.
AMEN !

jtb, i hope its out of your system because your going to jail. Read and weep, your should have stopped harassing me:
First, go to the text of the legislation and search for Sec. 113. Note how Sec. 113. amends existing law by changing the definitions in 47 U.S.C. 223(h)(1).

http://www.news.com/Create-an-e-annoyance,-go...

It's illegal to annoy
A new federal law states that when you annoy someone on the Internet, you must disclose your identity. Here's the relevant language.

"Whoever...utilizes any device or software that can be used to originate telecommunications or other types of communications that are transmitted, in whole or in part, by the Internet... without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person...who receives the communications...shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both."

I read the article. Here is a portion:

Fein said on Friday. "I would fight it on First Amendment grounds."

He's right. Our esteemed politicians can't seem to grasp this simple point, but the First Amendment protects our right to write something that annoys someone else.

It even shields our right to do it anonymously. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas defended this principle magnificently in a 1995 case involving an Ohio woman who was punished for distributing anonymous political pamphlets.

If President Bush truly believed in the principle of limited government (it is in his official bio), he'd realize that the law he signed cannot be squared with the Constitution he swore to uphold.

And then he'd repeat what President Clinton did a decade ago when he felt compelled to sign a massive telecommunications law. Clinton realized that the section of the law punishing abortion-related material on the Internet was unconstitutional, and he directed the Justice Department not to enforce it.

Bush has the chance to show his respect for what he calls Americans' personal freedoms. Now we'll see if the president rises to the occasion.

I would ask,

How does this law square with the freedom of speech?

The writer of the article asks a good question,

"Who decides what's annoying? That's the ultimate question," Fein said. He added: "If you send an annoying message via the United States Post Office, do you have to reveal your identity?"

I changed to final post because I was going to end it, but then you continued it.

Also, it would be up to a judge or jury to ultimately decide if it's "harassment".
But the article also said that even President Clinton knew that the first amendment would trump the law.

Let me ask you this: does it make sense that at
any time any person could claim "harassment" and whoever the other party is, would have to stop speaking.

The article mentioned the pro-lifers and Clinton knew this was 1st amendment speech.
whats the point

Happy Monday!! Sister Rain is really busy!! Woke me up several times last night but lolled me right back to sleep, No complaint. I am not going to call the Justice Department. The word that was given to me today is Forgive, and in my search this morning I came across this:
Prayer is the conduit of miracles.

I had this attached:
Jesus said,“Ye have heard that it is said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth; but Jesus said, I say unto you, Resist not him that is evil…….Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy; but Jesus said, I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you.”

Maybe the next step on my Spiritual Journey is, recognizing and replacing fear with Faith.“Where there is doubt, Faith…….” fear weasels in and brings doubts, maybe when fear brings doubts, I will remember that me and God are the majority. When my thoughts are in alignment with God, they act as a magnet for good. Even if my good is not yet manifested, when I stay in touch with God, I know my prayers are answered.
Peace
