I could not agree more. I feel blessed to know him. He is an extremely intelligent person and one of the most interesting people I converse with.

One of the many great things about Rev. Harter is he always makes everyone feel special. Yes, he is extremely intelligent. I don't know anyone that knows more about Christianity and religion in general than he does. What makes Rev. Harter exceptional, however, is that, unlike many theologians, he brings not only intelligence and reason to his faith, but lots of heart, emotion and compassion for others as well. I am a better person just for knowing him. May God Bless Rev. Harter in his retirement as much as he has blessed so many others during his 31 year tenure as pastor at Falling Spring.

Bill has been - and will continue to be - a blessing to Falling Spring, Chambersburg, and the world community.
One life well lived does make a difference.
