OMG, "unscheduled meeting with a judge?". So everybody just decided to show up, including a judge, somewhere and have a meeting with all parties involved? Come on people!!! This has been a shady case from beginning to end!!! Lets see how long the PO keeps this post up before somebody has an "unscheduled" meeting to take this post off!!!

All of the people on here that have to make the rude and ridiculous comments are the shady cases. Also none of the parties involved need to hear or read your two cents worth of comments! Keep it to yourself! Like I've said before has anyone ever told you if you don't have nothing nice to say don't say it at all! And just like the newspaper is called the public opinion everything is nothing but opinions from people. The definition of opinion is a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. They can never tell anyone the truth of everything because they don't know the truth. Nothing but personal views coming from people that don't know anything. Oh yeah and don't worry about an "unscheduled" meeting to take this post off. I will let you know right now that the meeting is scheduled and will be taken off!

I don't understand why he is out of jail. He killed his wife and should pay the price. You don't shoot and ask questions later. I'm not a police, but it seems this person is being treated differently than others. Why?

Yes it is a bad situation for the Runyon family--I could care less about his family. He's alive, not in jail after he recklessly killed his wife. The hell with his family--he created the situation. Any reasonable person would check where their family member was before they shot. Two dogs and no barking--hello-guilty. He needs locked up forever or maybe even put to death. How do we know it was dark in the room--maybe he know what he was doing-First degree murder.
Yes, it is a bad situation but that's for both families. And you could careless and to hell with his family. Thanks a lot I am family. There isn't to many people out there in their right minds that are going to say that when the family didn't have anything to do with what happened. And oh by the way "Watcher" nice name your not a watcher your just a lazy s-o-b that needs to keep his or her nose out of other peoples business because I'm sure your don't want people nosing around in yours!

Is this guy so jumpy that he can't see it's his wife from 4 feet? Also, it seems to me that if they were sleeping together in the same bed, he'd know if she was there or not. Lastly, if she was a nurse who kept odd hours, certainly it wouldn't have been the first time she'd been up while he as in bed.

Yes but, you must be willing to stand up for your rights, meaning Miss Shi wont cut it. Larry Flynt didnt take his case to the Supreme Court as Dr. Porn. If you wish to remain anonymous, then you cant complain when the posts are removed.

Anyone that who has gotten to know Chris knows that he would never hurt anyone. Chris and Kristen was one of the happiest couples that you could be around. I just want Chris to know that he has alot of people that care about him alot and we know in our hearts that he could never do anything to hurt someone. I am keeping him, his family, Kristen, and her family in my prayers.
One thing I dont understand is how people can say the cruel things they are and dont know them or what happened exactly.

Come on people look at the big picture here. He's got one smart lawyer..He talked him in to taking the MS charge for the simple fact..NO!! jury will listen to what this man did and think it was an Accident. He admitted he didn't call out before he fired. He Admitted he didn't check to see if his wife was still in bed.THe kicker for me is the DOGS were not barking/acting funny like he stated, they bark when "Other" people are around or in the house...And they never!!!! Barked!!!..Like i said smart lawyer..Now let's see what he get's i hope it's the max and the judge sees through this hole ordeal..Also Letterkenny a Government work place should be letting this guy go from their work place..I hope he gets the 20 years++++++++++

We are all so quick to judge. That is why we have a court system. Did you ever set to think that maybe the reason he is out and still working is because he really may be telling the truth. Only he knows what really happend and he has to live with that. Let the system do it's job and just except the outcome of it all. I'm sorry for both families, and I can't see how people can be so mean in some of the coments that were made without truly knowing the facts. The only thing we know is what is written in the papers and on the news.
