These two have cut deals behind the Boards back, created positions without proper state laws being adhered to, they have been spending our tax dollars like it was never going to end...and for one it hasnt ended. YET

These folks have looked down on us taxpayers and have been overheard as referring to Chambersburg folks as REDNECKS!

It is time we review this Superintendent now and get out THE REST OF THE STORY to us hard working people who only want our kids to be educated...not to be sending these high ranking, self absorbed administrators to trips that have ranged from, Puerto Rico, and Atlantic City, to Disney World. They have engraciated themselves with "catered meals" on a regular basis to the district office, while other hard working employees have to carry their own lunch or go out and spend their own money on a meal. What makes these folks who get the $90,000 or higher pay checks entitled to this treatment. Guess there are things such as "A FREE LUNCH" if you make enough money.

These top dogs are forgetting the hand that feeds them....US...it is time to have Dr. Padasik step down immediately, afterall he is not and has never been a part of the Chambersburg community!. Ask his wife, who lives two hours away how she likes Chambersburg. But this man takes our money (and lots of it) and takes it away from our town. He even gave himself an $18,000 raise last year, and his buddy (Dr. Orandorff) rubber stamped it! Not bad, IF YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. Dr. Orandorff sees the writing on the wall (THAT THE HOUSE IS GOING TO CRUMBLE) and knows that some illega things may have been happening. Two folks are accountable: The President of the School Board AND, guess who: YEP! Dr. Joseph Padasek.

Time to set him free and set ourselves on a path towards education for a change. AND NO BUY OUT OF A CONTRACT! This man has enough perks from our district to sustain him all the days of his life!

End the dictatorship of CASD....cash in his chips too

Tell me everyone -- who do I go to? Should I contact the State Department of Education to get the ball rolling and oust Dr. Joe? Who do I contact to have Dr. Joe and his buddy Billy Hodge investigated should need be --- there must be a legal way to get rid of Dr. Padasek. Please educate me -- I am looking for ideas.

I would start with addressing your issues at a CASD board meeting. Of course, if you are actually a CASD employee, you will probably be fired (just something to consider). In that case, call/write/email your school board representative. He/she may or may not be responsive to your concerns.

I won't bother with the board - I want to go higher, to people that will investigate the problem. Also, maybe I should consider going to the Patriot News and to WGAL --- you are correct, I would be fired!! Still looking for suggestions...

Think again. Look who they just hired as 'another' administrator in the district. Doesn't take much to figure out what this guy is going to be doing.

Connect the dots. Former swimmer at PSU brought to the district into an administrative position with no experience in a high school. What do you think he'll be working on?

The Hostetler family left the YMCA the same as many other swimming families....with NO LOVE lost! Lynn Hostetler was particularly treated badly some years ago by the Y. This is very weird.

The PO should publish Padasak's contract so the tax payers can see what the board agreed to. It would be a real eye opener for the residents of the district.

The remainder of the CASD school board should follow Dr. Orndorf out the door and let new blood have a go at MANAGING the people's money. No major construction projects that incur long term debt; no transfer of wealth to the YMCA for the swimming pool; no football stadium add-ons; just focus on improving performance of all students. Make that "Job One" for Padasak and bloated staff.

It appears Padasak isn't a worthy or competent leader of the school district. Give it a test: Pose the question in a referendum to let the voters express their will about his staying or going.

I would say at this point that Sharpe is the one to get rid of. She likes to keep rumors and inuendos going in the background and then steps back and lets the poop fall where it may. Why isn't she President of the board? Isn't that the job of the vice-president..to be ready to step in in the event of the loss of the president? She wants to keep things stirred up but wants NO responsibility.

Perfect !! Publish his contract!! The PO needs to step up and look into WHAT is going on. Why are we paying Dr. Joe an $18,000 pay increase for FAILING?? Most people screw up - they get fired -- he gets a raise --- WHY???
