Dancing in the Streets

People put on their dancing shoes and took to the streets Saturday. More than 10-thousand people packed the streets of downtown Lafayette and West Lafayette for the 17th Annual Dancing in the Streets event.

I'm a little upset that the streets were not closed to through traffic for the parade. There are a lot of classic cars that can overheat by just sitting and waiting while a line of normal traffic is interupting the parade. There are other routes around the downtown area that can be used for 45 minutes so the spectators can have the full parade to watch
