I have been preaching that for years. I did cave and got a cell phone (one) for our family to use in case of emergencies. I admit, I've used it to report doggies locked into vehicles at Wal-Mart during July, people selling puppies in the Wal-Mart parking lot, people parking illegally at CMS, but most of our calls on it are short and to the point. We've had our phone almost 2 years and have 126 hours on its lifetime counter. That is 5 1/4 days.
You are such a good citizen and so responsible on cell phone use.

More studies have been done in England. Something is causing these brain tumors.

I am an ameteur radio operator (ham). We operate transmitters with power outputs approaching 1,000 watts using antennas that are as close as 10 or 12 feet. A cell phone transmits at a leved of several one thousands of ONE watt. I know of no increase in cancer or any other affliction that hams are prone to get other than a lack of sleep or doing household chores when we "are in the zone". To me this appears as another Chicken Little, THE SKY IS FALLING" urban myths such as the inclusion of deadly objects or substances in Halloween candy. I truely believe that these so called studies are don for self serving institutions to keep funding alive.

Food and what we are feeding the animals that's where the cancer is coming from.

I can believe that there are cancers caused from foods but the tumors that are centered in the brain are being caused by other factors.

In "Mobile madness", published on September 27th, we said that Ronald Herberman, the director of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, issued a memo in July based on "early unpublished data", in which he urged his staff to limit their use of mobile phones. The memo was, in fact, based on a review of the results from many published sources. Sorry for the error.
