I just love how Parma schools quietly puts a levy on the ballot. When I went to a meeting last year the school baord acknoledged how the school population was going to shrink at least 30% over the next ten years. This means they would need less teachers, buildings and administrative workers. When asked why they needed more money knowing the school population was shrinking....they could NOT answere the question. I am voting no!

I only lived here for a short while. I'm moving soon but so far Cleveland, OH is a shit hole! Vote for who? I'm told the schools system are the worst. The cops are racist. No one wants to live here. The employment suck! The Public Transportation System is not for the people that bring life to the system. They over charge & make it difficult for people to get to & from work. Not to mention the Public Transportation police. I seen personally give someone a ticket when that person was running for the bus with cash in hand got on the closet door, which was the back end, & that's when the Transportation cop asked him if he had a ticket. All he wanted to do is go up front & pay is fair but they wouldn't let him even though they so he didn't have anytime to pay at the machine. What a system. And I hear the judicial system stick it to the people with high court fines for minor fines. Cleveland is an unfair city & everyone knows around the country. The city is broke & trying to hustle the people of Cleveland, OH. What a shit hole!

Cleveland, OH has something in common with most cities & States, the politicians are out of touch here to. What a city. The price of living that's the only thing this city has going for itself. csusan, your right they can't explain & they don't care about education they care about $$$ dollars & cents. Education has been big business, we forget until they start closing schools & layoff teachers. csusan, keep going to meetings, when you can make it, & stay informed. csusan I think they needed more $$$$ dollars & cents because when they shrink classes or close schools & layoff teachers it will leave more money on the table for bigger perks. "Well, we cut this & slashed that." Well, what do you know, I saved the school system hundreds of thousand of dollars." "I think I deserve a raise," "yes, I do," "I do deserve a raise & a vacation all them layoffs was tough to do." is what they will be saying.

Excuse me, but if you aren't familiar with all the consequences of the continuously failing levy, then how can you vote against it? Why would you vote no to a levy for the schools and students trying to get the education they rightfully deserve? No student should have to fight for the ability to learn in a public school or anywhere! That's aboslutely ridiculous! These students have suffered enough stress over what classes won't be available for them in the fall, if their favorite extra curriculors will be cancelled, if their teachers will be hopped from one school to another, and even if their school building will be open the following year! The Parma City School District replaced all the administration positions with new officials too. These innocent students are victims of the polls now, and this needs to change. The levy really needs to pass for the sake of the future of our community...Thank you to everyone that did their part today by voting for OUR levy..You did your part in saving my current school, that I've been fighting for the past several years. Thank you on behalf of Normandy and all of the Parma City Schools.. Thank you on behalf of everyone being effected by your vote.

Back where it belongs? Back to the days of failure Bush & Company? We are finally moving forward for the fist time in 8 long years. Why would anyone want to go back to when the Republicans were running the show? Anyone who votes Republican gets what they deserve, more poverty, more hopelessness, more failing infrastructure and more scandals. Let's keep moving forward and not let the neo conservatives take us back to the eleventh century way of thinking.

I agree with you. The Republicans are not going to do anything.
