Maybe he should have watched out for the big truck with a back up alarm

Upon clarification of the circumstances, it turns out that the kid was not backed over. He was walking his bike on the sidewalk when the dump truck tried to turn into a construction site on campus by driving over a sidewalk. The dump truck driver only stopped because bystanders alerted him that he ran over someone. Early reports stated he was backed over because the driver backed up some so the second set of tires would not be pressed against the injured kid. For this reason, only the individuals who did not witness the entire accident reported he was backed over.
