Seriously though, thank you to all the fine educated folks down in Florence for you support. I hope the best to you all . Fact is though, we are assured to win this fight in Aurora. Will we win the war? That remains to be be seen. My gut feeling is no. Not if this management team is allowed to continue.
I know we in ohio sound like a bunch of whiney pre madonnas but, if you had to work with these dip shits you would understand. Hopefully the powers that be in Germany are paying attention. We can't be competitive if upper management hires all their out of work friends and places them in positions of power. Rotek has been around for 50 years. We don't need you to tell us how to reinvent the wheel. Your new wheel is actually kind of square.
Be ready Kentucky and everyone in Ohio don't hesitate to move on from rotek. There are good jobs out there right now
your are so right this is one of the better post I have seen on here as far as germany caring I say send in uncover boss show. As far as other jobs out there you are right good luck to you and the others walking out front

I greatly appreciate the hard work of our union officials and the strength of our union. Otherwise, we would have no protection from this greedy tyrant who is trying to destroy our good paying jobs. i have great confidence that we will get a lot better contract than the B.S. contract that was implemented. You guys in Florence will just have take what these greedy assholes have to offer you. If you don't realize it by now, they don't think too much of us. Good Luck !

Dang, how did you ever come up with your sweet name? Most of us are hardened individuals, not some mamby, pamby pencil neck like yourself. Do you think standing in the cold bothers us? This is almost like an unpaid vacation for most of us, especially after working 60+ hour work weeks. Something you wouldn't know anything about.

Why would you call the Union a bunch of snakes? They simply told the truth at the investigation. Honesty is always the best policy. Whereas the company lawyers were trying their best to cover for all the lies that have been vomited out by Rotek. I don't think they BS'd their way out of this one. Sure is going to be costly to pay out that back pay to unemployment.

What's this, out of forgings in KY? Lets investigate this further:

"We look forward to resuming normal operations as soon as possible," Harris added. "Rotek has a business continuation plan in place to meet our commitment to our customers -- this is a matter of responsible management."

How's that plan working out? Oh don't worry, the red headed step child is heading up the scab crew in the ring rolling mill. All is well KY, you'll have your ovals soon enough.

And Miss Harris also said:
The company is not planning to bring in "new labor" to meet "commitments to our customers,"

Oh hey look, another Rotek lie.

Good Luck guys. I pass by Rotek on my way to work and back. It's nice to see you stand strong and hopeful. Just keep it clean and honest. Support the Union leaders. I would start looking if you're not already for another job in the area. There are plenty of companies looking for good workers as yourself. Rotek may be dwindling and looking for measures to keep it going to keep their pockets lined with the green stuff. Start sending to companies in the area even if there are no job openings. That's what I would do. Good luck and hang in there.

It didn't take very long for you guys to run out of work down there. We've been sending an average of two loads a day to you guys, sometimes three since the beginning of last year. Don't you think, since that's never before happened that I can ever remember, that they were just stockpiling up for just such an occasion as this? Your plant has never carried us before this year. The ring mill has carried all of aurora and kentucky since it's inception. I don't know what will happen in all of this, but if any of you think that what you make and how much you pay for your insurance doesn't ride on what the outcome of OUR BARGAINING AGREEMENTS are, then surely you are BLIND. Just a little truth in love from Local 8565. P.S. You know who to call when you decide to organize.
