Anyone with claims against AmeriCON Homes should contact the FBI and file a criminal complaint for rackering, criminal conspiracy, fraud, etc. There are several complaints about Jeff SIMLER and Sandy KRULAK collecting deposits for homes and not building them or returning deposit money. They are scammers! If you think that is bad, check out (just one county) the Cuyahoga County Recorders site and type in Valley Ranch Estates and/or Americon Homes, there you will find thousands owed to contractors that weren’t paid. worked with crv drywall, as a finisher on a project ran and contracted to by ameri-con homes... performed housing needs as a drywall finisher and am still awaiting monies owed to me and my helper, about 925.00 for myself and my helper another 750.00. my contractor has given me about 200.00 of the owed money and is complaining even more, now because of the work not being payed for... any other needs? am looking for easy and quick recovery, myself or better yet with the partnership that was creted with crv drywall. to ameri-con homes which has a prfucted contract with... allogations are that ameri-con homes are bating homeowners and using thier money to further projects other than those being promised... butt-heads, need to pay me to get the wind off of my back and the cap replaced to those knowing, hell i froze my own design implications to the two houses that I worked on, no wonder i havent been payed, crv drywall just informed me that there are 14 other trades and contractors on these two houses also who are in deficiet, give them hell and contact me soon. satyrs and terrians dont mix!!!! and chex doesn't pay, they are bought... anyone got pringles?

We had thought about using this company to build a house. We visted a few of thier communities and wondered why houses weren't being bulit anymore. I wonder if this is why they named themselves "Americon"

I too am one of those contractors who got taken for a load of money. I actually did put them in for collections back in 2006. I installed two heating systems for them in Madison, OH. I was patient with them because it was winter when the a/c's where ready to be installed and the next summer they still hadn't sold the homes so they did not want to install the a/c's just yet. Unfortunately, I had already done all of the interior preparations for the a/c and incurred just over $2000 in cost. And if that wasn't bad enough, I let the foreman assure me that I would receive my monies and did some further service for them incurring a couple hundred dollars more with them. I still have not received anything from collections!

Ameri-Con is bankrupt and out of business.

The Valley Ranch lots in Maple/Garfield that were not finished or even started are listed in the county foreclosure listings (some to be sheriff auctioned next week, actually).

They also had a condo development on the west side of Cleveland that was never finished and was recently purchased by other developers.

I doubt anyone will get any owed money from them.
