New girls basketball coach for chaffee

I do personally know her and her family....don't know about this particular thing...but do know she's a good person and wouldn't do the girls wrong.

U would think that if she had never played ball before that they would not have fired her. If it was a boys sport that coach would have been credintialed

The only reason she is coaching girls basketball is because no one else would do it. The elementary kids say she is a horrible pe teacher.

The school board we have is the best one we have had since we had Dr. Bell. That board was just a bunch as Dr. Bell ass kissers, like Ron Eifert, and let that dictator run the school and run off all the good teachers. The board we have now got rid of that monster and ask the teachers how great morale is at the school! And our state evaluations are at an all time high. Do some research.

i agree our board is much better however why is it that we keep teachers that don't teach and let the good ones go.... Glass!!! was the best!

Glass got recruited by the new Cape superintendent. He wanted to leave, the job was a promotion, more money, and he thought it would be good for his career. Can't blame him.

To those who didn't like Dr. Bell, you are very short sighted. You loved him when he replaced Dr. Biggs. Secondly, most of the people in Chaffee are uneducated as to how a real school board is suppose to be ran. It has nothing to do with kissing someone's behind. It has to do with the legal guidelines in which a school board must conduct itself. If someone is running out and telling all of the business of close session before it has been made public within the sunshine law, then that person is in violation of the law. That has happened all of the time in Chaffee.
There is a reason for the high turnover in Chaffee Administration. They get tired of dealing with people who are uneducated as to how a school district must legally and professionally be ran.
It is not an easy job. You should try to make those decisions.

If you will check the financial records, you will see that due to the foresight of Dr. Bell the district was left in the best financial shape that it had been in prior to other superintendents. He couldn't have been too bad. There have been two building expansions under his supervision.

Chaffee Girl

Dr. Bell was recently fired from his job in a small town near St. Louis, I can't remember the name of the district. He did signifigantly help the schools financial situation but he was an egomaniac. He also used to take his family out to lobster dinners on the schools dime and the spineless board president would not confront him about it. These dinners were while they were at a national conference also paid for by the district. Alot has changed since he is gone and the board has reorganized. Dr. Bell was one of the worst Superintendants Chaffee ever had for many reasons!

They need to fire her from coaching and either get Coach White back or allow Birk to take over. She is rude and arrogant and no matter how calmly the players or parents try to talk to her she acts like they are beneath her and cuts them off. If it wasn't for setting a bad example for my daughter I would knock her off her high horse. Pretty bad that know all complaints are being sent to Mr Lathum and Mr Blackmn instead of Coach T because he wasn't gettig anything done.

honestly, you wanna know what i think. you dont know her and you need to just stop talking like your something im pretty sure your daughter didnt work hard enough and maybe she would play more. they are both excellent coaches and i would have u know if you can sit here all day posting little coments about people you honestly need to get a life. i mean its their first year give them a break. and making threats like that does not set a good example to your daughter....

I am just glad the season is almost over. I have sat through to many games watching the girls try to play and not have a strong enough coach to get them through it. I still think they need to get Coach White back, he was a pain but my daughter loved playing with him as coach and now she doesn't really care. Several sphomores and juniors didn't play this year that are actually terrific ball players wonder what the deal was with that, maybe they ant him back too.
