haunted places

Does anyone know of any ghost legends in this area? I'm working on a book about haunted places in Illinois and I'm really lacking anything for Carroll County. Any help would be appreciated. Post here or e-mail [e-mail] I'm covering the 33 northern counties in the book so actually if you have any Illinois stories they may be helpful. Thank

i wav a friend named nick a 3 year old boy diyed in his house about 80 years a go if you go into the bath room at midnight turn of all of the lights look into the miror and count to 100 you will see a litel boy with red glowing eyes i did it before because i thout it wuz not true so when i did it a litel boy about 4'5 with glowing eyes wuz looking right at me after that i neewer go owver that house no more

have u heard of the hanted grave yard in wisconsen it is said that if u stand or sit on the grave in the middle of the grave yard it is big . a spirit or enteties or ghost will push

my sister lives in savanna and says that her house is haunted; says she has actually seen forms of people, one an old man, in the house; the only thing that ever bothered me there was her cat...lol

my sister posted earlier, i live in savanna, and i tell you my house is haunted...not only have i seen and heard things here, people that lived here before me has experienced things unexplained..word is a lady hang herself in the basement, and there have been two other deaths in this house.. just a plain looking old house with a lot of spirits running thru it day or nite.. don't believe me..it is all true..

there is a house in boneville, GA called the boneville mansion that everyone said was haunted but me and my friends didnt beileve until one nite we drove out there and was recording it and saw somthing...like a shadow shoot across the room. while camera was rolling we were running and we left outta there and was watching the video and herd an EVP telling us to "get out" so i think it would be a really good house to look into.

The Boneville Mansion most notably The Dixie Inn is by far the most uneasy feeling place to investigate.I gather that most of its history is clouded but reports of murders & demonic presence still boggle my mind.We encountered a blue enitity which i believe to be full blown energy perception.I cant say tha place is haunted but i can say it has potential for ghosts & its very active from first entry.Shadows lurk around the house along with spectral orbs of energy in every picture of the houses exterior.If anyone wants to help investigate & help out you can email me @ [e-mail].T. There are a bunch of houses around here that are haunted, especially in galena. There was a house out in the country on Ashby Road, someone burnt it down now but all of the barns are still there. Supposeable there was a murder/sucide there. Me and a few friends went there before someone burnt down the house. When you are on the road going up the hill to it you just get this werid vibe, your heart starts racing, you feel like you can't breathe. This happened to me and i didn't even know that i was going to the house. Rumor has it that if you take anything from the house something bad will happened to you. There are a couple of car accidents that have happened after leaving the house and taking something. When we went out there we didn't take anything but out flashlight stopped working and we just put a new battery in it and our phones all died. It was FREEZING inside and 90 degrees outside. Definately a fun trip when it was there. We went out there the other night when there was a full moon and checked out the barns.. talk about chills. But some other places around here is the Adialy house.. I don't know how to spell it sorry. Now there are alarms set up in it to keep trespassers out cuz the town was having problems with people getting hurt out there.. im not sure what all happened there. When i lived in Sandwich, IL we had a 8 bedroom victorian mansion that was haunted but they burnt it down because the spirits were scaring people out of the house. There were tons and tons of deaths there. I still to this day believe that there is a babie's casket in the well that is out there. The landlord put a cement block over top of it to keep people out of it but we managed to push it off of the cover and was spraying the hose to knock mudd around and seen a wooden box. When we first moved there my 2 year old sister told my mom a baby was sleeping in the well and kept pointing at her. I believe in young children and their connection with spirits. The address to that place was 17799 Pratt Road. I remember on the next few roads over, the one my grandma lived on there was an abandoned out that was across from a haunted house. They called it the Devils house cuz the spirits in the cememtary were evil and would fuck with the people that lived in the house or sumthing.. but idk i just know that this place has sum interesting stories for sure. i lived in a house in savanna that everyone thought was haunted. it was freezing all the time, and twice people seen someone they thought was me, one that just evaporated, and one that disappeared when i walked in the room, my friend said i had just been sitting next to him and he was talking to me when i walked in. and my cat had a ghostly apparition in a picture two months before he died. i tried to post it here, but it wouldn't go through. i tried to find out who died there, it was nearly 95 years old, but i never found out. i used to dream of the house when i was young, and when i drove past it i thought this is the house i used to dream about, and i asked the next door neighbor who owned it, and they did, and it was the right price, so i bought it. it just seemed like i had lived there before, and i was coming home.

The owner's do not seem to be in town (I think the property is in probate), but they do request that people seek permission before going to the location.

Yes there used to be a house on ashby road that was said to be haunted but i have been out there many times and also taken stuff from there and nothing has ever happened. I have tried to do research about this place and other than people saying it was a good place to have sex that noone has ever seen anything or knew why it was abandoned.Its a shame it was burnt down

Look into Grant park in milwaukee wisconsin.
It's absolutely haunted, not only have I experienced it, but there is historical record to back it up.
