It appears the recent change in the teaching staff was a deal breaker for some families. We just got back from an open house/science fair....saw a lot of familiar faces there checking out the school. This situation is Some familith ises are leaving the Catholic education system entirely and placing their children in public and Christian schools. That should give you a indication of how fed up people have become with this situation and the Catholic church all together.
If someone would have told me a year ago that we would be in this situation....I would have told them they were crazy. To think....the education and welfare of over 100 children has been sacraficed for the sake of keeping one person. That must be one VERY important person. I have never witnessed such a betrayal....a true sacrafice of the greater good for the befefit of so VERY few. "They" simply lost sight of the big picture...we as parents worked our butts off to make SB a great place for all of our children...I only wish "They" would have recognized it and appreciated us and not just our pocket books.....
Sorry for the typo...meant to say "some families are leaving"

I am so heartbroken over this. ..... It does bring me some comfort that we will not be alone at our new school. I am looking forward to this school year being over and starting fresh with no drama. Anthony many of us will be there with you to support our new school.

Anthony so true. I think "They" have finally realized they errored and they know they lost the war. 100 children is a very conservative number on your part.

They realize nothing. She will tell you that it's not as bad as the rumors suggest. Notice there is no one here defending her actions anymore.

Going to be a long carnival weekend for her and her homies.

Let me just put it out there ... Spring Fling should be canceled . All the spirit is gone. The parents are done. I think the mass of families leaving has spoken loud and clear that we were not just a few unhappy. Just let the school year end peacefully.

Wow! I am amazed at how sad this carnival is. Half of the food booths are gone including the amazing Italian booth. Thank you Carvalho!

Not if Carvalho is still around. Too bad we will never truly be told how much less we made this year vs. last year.

She continues to bully the parents thinking she is still in charge. It must be the frustration of losing the battle. Good luck next year...Top Flight Security,"of the WORLD"

I disagree, SBS has never been Ghetto. It is totally sad, very sad. Carvalho has divided this school, even among those who are staying. She has ruined friendships, and divided homes. She is a true cancer in an environment that used to be a really happy one. Sure there is drama everywhere but ours was simple everyday stupid crap. nothing substantial. Until now. And yet she wanders the school, waving and smiling claiming all is well. Of course it isnt. Sad to see those junior high kids last night crying and hugging teachers they are losing who have been vital to their development. BUT SHE MARCHES ON!!

I for one am looking forward to hearing about the major loss this school took from a disasterous carnival weekend.

This has definitely opened my eyes from all the years we've been here. Never have I've seen such unruly adults. THE CHILDREN LEARN FROM WHAT THEY SEE, HEAR AND WHAT IS SAID. Many are waiting till the deadline of registration to pay the full amount. Even the families staying are counting on what is promised... "Change". A few confused and frustrated staff lashing out on each other and parents. A few have been brainwashed or want to believe in "change". Well this is the "change". Just the very beginning of it. Anyone happy about it?

It's called booze. Parents thst can't go 72 hours without or volunteer at a event without their booze.

You know the boozers. Drink up and act irresponsible. Gulp gulp
