Solar Industries make vinyl windows.(SI Vinyl Windows) I have only found out that the windows have a 10 year warranty with no labor. No glass breakage either. The vinyl extrusion is Chinese made. Does anyone have any experience with Solor Industries vinyl window line(SI Vinyl Windows)? Any information on the warranty or which window dealers carry them would be helpful.

I got a great quote for these windows. Have you heard anything about their quality?

I had these installed along with 2 of their 6' sliding doors. My contractor got them and now I'm looking for 3 more windows. Can't seem to find any place to buy them as an individual. Does any one know where I can purchase these in the Phoenix area?

A friend referred me to HD Supply,( used to be Contractors Warehouse). I just call them for retro fit windows, as stock many. The girl in customer serviced mentioned the they are made by Solar Industries.

Just had 8 installed along with a patio door (5000 series) and they are pretty nice. One was bent and is being replaced but it appears it was damaged in shipping. I had some window world windows installed 3 years ago and the only difference other than these being about 1/3 less in price is the window world brand have double latches while the solar industries have just one and the solar industries feel a little lighter. The latch on the patio door feels a bit cheap. The solar industries definitely keep out the heat and are a great price.

Solar windows are low end I have found out. I bought some from my rental property 8 years ago and all have failed. I just replaced all of them with Milgard. I went cheap thinking they would last but they didn't. Solar's customer service is not very good. Took them over a month each time they came out to fix a problem. Then they had to order parts. The windows wouldn't even stay up or close after a while and Solar said it wasn't their fault. Total run around. I don't recommend these windows to anyone.

Hi Tom. I too want warranty info on these specific windows. I purchased two in Tucson at the Window Depot and used one of their recommended installers. After 3 tries I obtained the warranty but it is very generic. I wrote the manager and asked for specific coverages but he has not responded so I hesitate to buy more. Verbally three different workers at the Window Depot told me that everything is covered including the argon gas and labor, but I would like to read the warranty.
