You can bust every meth lab and meth user you can come up with and you will not even START to put a dent in the huge demand for meth. Meth addicts LOVE their meth and if you shut down the local labs then the Mexican mafia will simply increase the amount of meth it exports into the USA to meet the new demand. Methamphetamine should be legal. Mexico just legalized possession of small amounts of drugs. Switzerland reaffirmed its legal heroin system. Portugal decriminalized all drugs in 2001. Legalizing meth would kill meth labs, meth houses and the meth mafia overnight. A group of 10,000 very serious policemen, prosecutors, attorneys and citizens have formed a group to legalize ALL drugs, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition ( http://leap.cc ) They see what happened when we legalized alcohol in 1932 as a good example of how drug legalization would work. They're sick of chasing drug users and sending innocent people to prison for decades .. Mark Montgomery boboberg@nyc.rr.com

Although these alleged accusations present to be upsetting and disturbing for the Glendora Police Department as well as the Radogna family, it is important to remember that all men are innocent until proven guilty. It is important to mention that while serving as a police officer, Mr. Radogna assisted in many arrests that provided safety and benefited both the city and the people of Glendora. Seems as if there may be some additonal key facts that need to surface in this case before judgement can be thrown.

obviously, from the way the story reads, he had his hand in the cookie jar before, so it would seem as though he is stealing $$ and using drugs, whiole our country touts innocent until proven guilty i think we take that a little to far, i mean look and behold the "smoking gun" ....

Besides the fact that the legalization of drugs will create a whole new generation of people who will use it that might not have otherwise, the destructive nature of what drugs do to your physical well being and your family as a whole can never be undersetimated.

In Bakersfield a few days back a father under the influence of PCP bit out one of the eyes of his 4 year old son and damaged the other beyond repair. The Libertarian Party is for the legalization of all drugs and it's mass stupidity at the highest level. The damage meth does to a person is not only physical but mental in it's long term usage, just talk to any tweeker that's used for years.

The easy way out is to legalize and once again not hold people accountable for the actions they take that not only hurt themselves but so many others. As it is the government has to care for countless addicts and their families due to their own weakness so making it easier on them doesn't make sense at all.

Any law enforcement officer that thinks hard core drugs should be legalized is an idiot.

I'm guessing this is a green light to ask for forgiveness or better yet ask for his job back? No is the correct anser and if you can hold your people to a higher standard then maybe the people making that call int eh first place need to be replaced or better yet FIRED also!

As far a punishment, the MAX is the best for me!

EX-police officer, Mr. Radogna assisted in many arrests that provided safety and benefited both the city and the people of Glendora. Seems as if there may be some additonal key facts that need to surface in this case before judgement can be thrown.

Why was I not surprised to read Radogna also worked at Covina PD, who had a one-time top narcotics detective, POA Pres., Officer of the Year, terminated over HIS meth addiction?(still on the stuff, rumor has it). Sleeping with that informant sure saw that dirty cop brought low-losing his family, friends, career, retirement, home, vacation home, his toys, his sanity.....but Covina is better off with him 86'd from the dept. Now he's living the white-trash, Jerry Springer show life with his former snitch. Radogna, this will be your life from now on, too.

Cops are ordinary people, too. I wouldn't wish anyone in this sad situation anymore bad karma than they are already feeling. It's really not cool to kick someone when they are already down and this guy has some really rough times ahead of him. Desperate people in desperate times...

Not so buddy, if you pick up a badge and gun you are and WILL be JUDGED by a higher STANDARD.

If you break that trust then the laws and punishment should be as hard as the LAW allows.

They were obviously watching this guy for a while. The sting was set up, to apprehend him, solely.

Radogna didn't look like a tweeker, more likely on roids and selling the meth to people. No matter what way you slice it he's scum.

Pretty shallow comments Glendora Chick.
