Sorry, hood rat. The story notes it's likely related to another gang incident before this one. Your cousin was out in a sketchy neighborhood late on a school night, with apparently some older negroes, looking for trouble, and he got it. He won't be missed. Nobody cares about ignorant hood rats.

So, why was a 19 year old hanging out with men aged 37 and 49. That doesn't sound right.

And how many men that age (the older dudes) are messing around with gangs.

The police need to come up with a new theory, imo.

That location is Ground Zero on the crime map. So many murders and shootings around there.

If you want to live to see your 20th birthday, stay far far away from Hill @ the Boulevard.

Are the two shooting victims assisting the police? Or is it a situation where they "didn't see nuthin', don't know nuthin'" as is so often the case.

I bet you'd never talk like that to a so called "hood rat" to their face.

Why wouldn't I? Cowards are the easiest losers to send running. Gangs are the most cowardly bunch in societies lot. They can't play the game by the rules, so they try to knock over the board. Unwanted man-children with daddies who didn't want them pitching tantrums until they get a boot pressing hard on their neck, where a good boot belongs.

I would be more respectful, instead of "hood rat" I would call her "project girl."

I think we should send some of those crazy cat ladies you always see at the beach up to the hood to do a catch, spay/neuter and release program there. With any luck, it would stop gang violence in one generation.

The problem is in large part due to the fact that since the Africans got booted out of Compton and into Long Beach, city residents who have not yet fled cannot rely on the politicized cops for their defense. Revolutionary Council wastes their time and our hard earned taxpayer money debating the criminalization of grocers who provide plastic grocery bags for the convenience of their customers, or whether smoking tobacco products at bus stops should be a criminal offense.

Undoubtedly, revolutionary Council - to a man - supports the efforts of their fellow politicians at the State level to disarm law abiding Long Beachers.

Residents can rest assured, though, that if they are murdered, not only will the cops take the report in a timely and very professional manner, but the report will also be put into the city's computer data base for the purpose of determining crime "trends" in the city.
