Former Ceres Seahawk

Last year the Ceres Seahawks signed my son up saying he would play at the JV level. By the time the season came around they told him he had to play Varisty. My son had never played before. He was 11 years old. When you sign up a kid you need to say which team he will be on. They never refunded our money nor anyone elses. The Ceres Seahawks scam people out of there money. What a joke. We went to another Ceres team and so glad and thankful. The board members were so great. The parents involved were as well. Our coach worked alot and had very little help. I am told this year there is a new coach with 4 assistant coaches. I am looking forward to the 2010 season. Its too bad there is a control issue at the Seahawks after all you lost alot of your players and coaches. The president needs to not talk so much bs about the parents, players and other teams in Ceres. Shame on you Javier

You are right, The seahawks did take alot of peoples money. Then not put there kids where they said. We went to the Cowboys, Saints, and the Raptors. There thinking, We got there registration. Its non refundable. We will get them back next year. Let the other suckers take them for a year, at discounted registrations. Cheats, liars, and thieves. Javier and Rachelle. You now are the crooks. And your teams are not very good. Just numbers. Advise to ones screwed. Stay where you are. Every year gets better. Good luck to all kids, no matter whre you play. Have fun play hard.

First of all you see I put my name definitly not too coward to do that! To reply to the first comment the only way that a child would have been told he was on JV and then moved to Varsity would be because the child was over the weigh limit, which we gladly gave refunds last year to a few different kids that did not make the weight limit. We have no way of tellig how much you child weighs at the time of registration. Our weight limits are on our web site so as a parent you know how much your child weighs. The Seahawks definitly has never scammed anyone, we are very well supported with great people who strive to give the kids their best. I have given timeless hours to make this the best organization for all these kids and as for my character I will not let anyone run it down and I would really appreciate if you could be man or woman enough to call me and I will try to help you to the best of my ability. I'm truley sorry you had a bad experience last year, but as the whole town knows we are the most respected and well ran organization in Ceres, so if I can clear this up with you at all please don't hesitate to call # on the web site.

To the second comment. I have never been and never will be a cheat, liar , thief or a crook!!! You obviuosly don't know me very well, because anyone that knows me knows that I don't need the Seahawks money or anyone elses money. Nor does the Seahawks need money, we are very well supported by great people and great families that are very happy to be a part of the the best team in Ceres. I have made sure that NO money is taking from these kids benefit, and if I'm wrong for that then thats fine. My husband and I have given countess time and money to make the Seahawks a well respected program. So, while your throwing names out there and statements about people when you don't even really know who they are, try signing you name to it!

Please do not pay attention to these comments these words are what sounds like HATERS that are from another orginization in CERES trying to run parents to the other side. I must say CERES is only so small and we should all get along and Rachelle is right as a parent you should know by weight limits what team your child will be playing. I have been with the orginization for 2 years now and must say I am very proud of what they do and the coaches. Please Javier and Rachelle don't let the negative comments deter you KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! People are CRAZY

Wow can't believe the negative comments that some parents can said about the Seahawks. I have two boys that play one in varsity and the other in jv. Jonathan and Estevan . The Seahawks in general are great.I have had nothing but good experience with them. My kids love it....The Choach are all great.

first of all.thanx barragan and rashelle.i dont get how some parents get upset when some of the kids dont get alot playn time.our division is competetive and not recreational.in football you earn a spot.its not handed to you, never.
just because your child was a superstar for the raptors, cardinals or cowboys does not make him a superstar for the seahawks.we put the best 11 on the field, period.
i dont have a child that plays for the seahawks or football.i do it for the kids.football is a contact sport and being the smallest team in the league we have to think of the childs safety also.if your child dont like to get hit, dont sign them up.
so as coaches we are thinking of having tryouts before signups next year.after tryouts the child is free to play for the raptors, cowboys or cardinals if there is a cardinals organization after what just happened.
