John Allen Muhammad, the mastermind behind the sniper attacks that left 10 dead, was executed Tuesday night as relatives of the victims watched, reliving the killing spree that terrorized the Washington metro area for three weeks in October 2002.

Yep, it took 7 years which, by execution standards, is brief and not bad at all.
Apparently, Virginia has the correct system while the idiotic weenies here in California can't seem to come up with the correct system. In Virginia, they know how to do it, they have the proper protocol, and they know how to make the proper drug cocktail to put this terrorist out of our misery. In California, everything gets fouled up while other states like Virginia, Texas,.... just summarily execute their death row inmates, and they execute them on time. Here in California, we're saddled with investigations, with judge panels, with 2 1/2 times the cost of housing death row inmates than other states, we can't execute anybody, we're saddled with 650+ death row inmates and it takes 30 years to execute them , we have weenie judges who think lethal injection is inhumane,..... Why, why us????

No, it is not that.....This is a business.....MONEY!!! It keeps everyone working in California. Think about it. I, too, wish the Judges would not waste our TAX DOLLARS....

anyone who is against the death penalty needs to have this happen to one of their family members then lets see what you think. why should we as tax payors have to support some piece of garbage like this for the rest of his worthless life in prison. it does not bring the victims back but he is no longer a burden on society. it says in the bible that we are made in gods image to have the power of choice and reason and to rule over everything. so we are out of gods hands while here on earth it is up to us to choose right from wrong and to govern ourselves.we need to clean more death rows.
