They do not look smart enough to pull this off. I think there are several people, lending facilites/ banks and businesses that wish they had. I understand they are heavily in debt and have a reputation for not paying bills. Although,If you know them and their reputation, you are not surprised. I dont think anyone is shocked. And what about the guy that owned the cattle? Insurance fraud?

Well, here we are, looks like they DID do it after all! I've read a few articles on the net...seems like everyone trusted them. Even poor old Ralph Mika! I dont buy his story about not having any money for retirement now. Really, he can take off to Europe for extended vacation but cant retire? He IS retired! Or, maybe, RETARDED. I'm hoping this crook will be implicated and spend a little time next to Mr. Bowers' cell.
As for the couple, I understand that neither liked making an honest living. Meaning, he worked part time and she didn't work at all. I'm not sure what is worse - paying for the Welfare and foodstamps they received or paying for the 3 squares they'll get while in prison! Either way these two lazy, career theives will be off the streets and not swindling anyone else. At least they wont be popping out anymore illeterate children for the next few years. Or, will they....hmmmmm
I'm sure they'll be popular when they get out. I hear they sang like song birds!
Mr and Mrs. Bowers, you have done your parents very proud! I'm sure you are a bright spot in their collective lives. Boy, how your mothers and fathers must be proud. By the way, how do your kids respond to their classmates when asked where are your parents?

For your information , I believe Ralph Mika was totoally involved. He still to this day, does everything he can to make their lifes miserable. Everybody makes mistakes, yes it was a big one! They have a 5 yrold and a 2yr. old that will have to be without their parents. Louie had never been in any other trouble all his life. Hes worked hard since he was 15 yrs. old. Its a very sad situation for all of us! Please don`t judge until you know the whole truth.

How do you know they sang like birds? Where are you getting your info? They are not career criminals, they are regular people like you and I. they made a very bad decision, but don`t attack my grandchildren. They are not responsible for any of this. They are very bright children, but your not sounding very smart. Its very sad that thewy will be losing their parents. How about Ralph Moka? hes about the lowest of lowest? He should also be put on trial if the truth be known. Hes sued just about everybody in Audrain county! Hes makes a living on it. I'm going to pray they pay for their sins in a way that they both come out of the other end with a better sense of what is right and what is wrong. I think even as they await their sentencing, they aren't looking at what they did wrong. They are looking at "how did we get caught?” I will also ask that the good courts of Missouri not show pity and make examples of them. Not so much for the crimes but maybe that they are away from the kids long enough that the kids are able to flourish in a more positive environment. That is if none of the Bowers sisters take them! My god! Frying pan to the fire! I'll also pray that the little ones get the intellectual, emotional and physical nourishment they have long craved and deserved!
And I’ll pray that the veil be removed from the family members eyes and they will be smart enough to realize those kids need to be in a GOOD home. Far, far away from them! For God sakes, give those poor grandkids a fighting chance! Know when you are not the answer. Certainly, the parents of these two were not the right answer.

Has anyone noticed everytime some gets caught stealing there is always coming to there defense telling others not to "condim them" or "you don't know the situation". They stole and got caught and should of thought of that before hand.
