This study would lead you to believe that the sky is falling and the economy of the state of Oregon will fail if illegal aliens are not allowed to work. Illegal aliens make up 4.3 percent of working population. Question. Would you notice a 4.3 % reduction in the salt content of your next restraint meal? Would you notice a difference in your lawn due to a 4.3% reduction in rainfall? NOT LIKELY.

LetÂ’s see Oregon has a 5.5% unemployment rate. What is the economic impact when you replace an illegal alien with an unemployed worker? For starters the unemployment rate drops to an 1.2%. The states saves a bundle of money. What is the economic impact of having all employees paying taxes? Not all of the illegal aliens pay income taxes. What is the economic impact to the community of not sending 20 to 40 percent of income being sent out of the country? What is the economic impact on the community of people living on unemployment returning to work?

Seems to me that the state would be much better off without the illegal aliens.

The impact of Illegal aliens on the United States taxpayers is over 380 BILLION dollars a year which equates to $9,000.00 per United States taxpayer EVERY year. There is your true impact.

BTW, Illegal aliens cost us the taxpayers more than the Iraq war does per year.

This is yet another Kleenex moment. We all should "demand a refund" due to our government's lack of using our money as though it came directly out of their pockets, instead of ours! Don't forget Congress has a 9% approval rating, as of yesterday. They must think they're doing the Limbo in D.C......how low can you go?
