I am the wife of Jeremy Berg,
He was a close friend to the father of the kids in this wreck. I was also in the accident in the passenger seat and we have witnesses that he was not drunk when he got into that vehicle. I understand blood test can show anything in the last week and it this could have been avoided by salting the roads and having the ICY ROADS salted. We loved those kids and Jeremy did all he could to get to those kids and he has not been blamed by the father and he is behind Jeremy in this situation. We were driving 20 miles an hour and of course when going down hill there is no way on Ice to slow all the way down. We are going to sue the county for not salting that road when it was sleeting, snowing and raining. Jeremy was a good man he is my husband of 5 years he would never hurt anyone. Please do not think negative just keep the family in your prayers and disregard all the media because all this has been blown out of context and it is wrong to put this on the news without asking the parents for permission.

i met jeremy while incarcerated and he is a really good guy. it was an accident and would have happened anyways. the road conditions were really bad and the spot where the accident happened is a dangerous spot whenever the roads are icy. i wish jeremy the best of luck in his case. i feel bad cuz he has to live with the death of the two children in his conscience. thats bad enough. i think that he shouldnt have to spend too long locked up. the media did blow this case out of proportion.

Whatever, the breathalizer showed he was drinking, and Randy said he was drinking out of a 20oz coke bottle, so he was hiding the alcohol from everyone in the vehicle...Breathalizer Tests don't lie, he failed another and went back to jail a few days later... Hey Leah.. Denial is what u r in.. 5-15 yrs isn't anything for taking the lives of 2 innocent children.. Shame on you and Jeremy!

How much higher do the fines and costs need to go before people understand to NOT DRINK AND DRIVE??
