If Cuomo follows thru on that property tax cap that would be better than nothing, but I won't hold my breath. You can count on fees for everything else to go up though, it will soon cost over a thousand just to register your car, count on it.

In 2 years the state's projected deficit is $35 billion, that's unmanageable even with major layoffs. Cuomo and the dems will never realistically deal with the bloated pension system which is what will be our undoing, you need a lunatic like Paladino in there for that. It might be gridlock with him as gov, but at least Paladino is more likely to lay the economic cards on the table and get this dire issue before the public for debate. With Cuomo you'll just get the usual bs, minor cuts until the state eventually goes belly up. I'd rather take a chance with Paladino, it's our only hope that this state will start facing up to its problems.

Time has come to send attorney politicians home and allow people who actually care take a shot at governing.

Folks, the current president, and the political party he leads, were put into power by people who were dissatisfied with the direction the country was going. Having been given that trust by the American people, and using minority held economic theories, they have plowed us under. If you are on the public dole, the November election will allow you to keep getting money for nothing, until it all runs out. If you have hope for your future, or your children's future, I'd suggest it's time for another sudden change, both here in NY, and in Washington.
This is no longer about what political party you like, you and I will win if the next Governor of NY bites the bullet, and makes fundamental change. We collectively will lose if the next one is the same as the last two. We were the Empire state, with the right leadership, we could be again. We have everything we need, except leaders. Look back over NY state's past governors, the successful ones were firebrands, that's how the Erie and Champlain canals got built, business as usual will destroy us...-Max
Minority held economic beliefs like what, wall street reform? Banking reform? Disapproved by the majority of wolves on wall street and bottom feeders in the banking industry perhaps, and certainly reforms that were moderated greatly, admit it or not, but reforms that were absolutely necessary. The insurance industry absolutely needed regulation, people were dying for lack of care because they couldn't afford it, and even people with insurance were screwed with every chance the bastards got. And Obama did what he had to do, one term president or not. That took guts and real integrity. Anyone campaigning on overturning anything is demanding a sacrifice, a human sacrifice, with about the same hope for a result. If these predators do manage to weasel their way back into power they can't ever deliver, not on a damned thing. They can't end welfare or eliminate Social Security, or anything else they rattle on about. Will they be able to override vetoes in either house? No. Hell no! So they can't really accomplish anything, they know it, and they're playing the voters for fools, again.

That post wreaked of Jim Tedisco, who couldn't possibly state his name on any of his blather and retain even a shred of credibility. But it could be any tool of Rove and Army, who marshal millions from foreign influences and mega corporations, to enable their evil proxies to get elected and continue to go about their evil bidding of shipping your jobs overseas and keeping you poor, vulnerable, powerless, and easily manipulated.

Just remember, no matter what republican you send anywhere that's what you get: the amoral spawn of greed and bringer of pestilence. All, standing in lockstep and shouting "No! No! No! Hell no!" from the rooftops, loud, and negative, but lacking in any constructive way forward.

But I digress, the topic of this thread is who do you support for governor in NY? That doesn't matter. Andrew Cuomo will be the next governor of New York. And there isn't a damned thing Weird Carl is going to be able to do about it. Unless, of course, Paladino has the chinese army poised and waiting outside of Toronto, just waiting to move in and take over. Stranger things have happened, I suppose. Maybe we should check with the US Chamber of Commerce (commerce, ack!) on that.

The choice is simple. Andrew Cuomo has the experience, intelligence and charisma to do the job justice. Paladino has done enough damage to require justice. Justice for all would be in voting for Cuomo.

Funny how people call our current leadership names now, just remember that the majority voted them (you did if you're a part of the majority) in when things don't go your way.

Because Albany is a HOT MESS! Corruption and back door dealing have cost this state it's edge. The legislators are practically criminal- they can't even pass a budget.

You jerks just can't see reality.

Paladino (the Pig) will NOT be governor now or ever. He is a racist, demeans women, is a thug and es not have the temperment to be Governor.

HE IS A LET DOWN for all of the teabaggers who believed that he was their HERO and GOD.

How pathetic is that?

Carl is a loose cannon. Hates Gays, Native American, who knows what else. He would just make everything worst.
Have all of you guys ever wonder where the money for all these tea baggers is coming from? I have and it has to be people with tons of money that these baggers are being bought out with. The ones that will happen to win will be someone puppet.
We all are scared of the terrorist, these baggest are like little robots and when you ask a question about who they feel about something that is a very simple question they are like a deer caught in the head lights.
