This is an major reason why ALL labor unions need to go. The students in this school were not learing and failing the tests they were taking to judge how much they learned. Then that crooked labor union had the stones to demand a raise. What a joke. This country would be a lot better off without labor unions. Just think you used to be able to go to Sears and purchase a Craftsman hand tool that said made in the USA. Look at the tools now little by little the hand tools are starting to be made in China and Japan. All because of the greedy lazy overpaid labor unions. Our roads are bad and we have to give too much money to SEPTA. Money that should be used to repair Pa's roads without union workers. Must be nice that SEPTA workers get paid $52,000 a year to drive buses and trains around. Get rid of all labor unions now!!

Why is it always the teachers faults, do they not look at the kids and the parents?

I voted for Obama and now with crap like this I wish I could go back and change my vote, like a bunch of educators wish they could.

It is stupid to think that firing all the teachers in a school would change their success rates. I bet you many teachers are going to be teaching to the tests, lowering thier standards even more so their kids do not fail.

Firing teachers because students are failing is like firing a doctor because the patients aren't doing what has been prescribed.

Students now adays have so much more resources to help them pass. They have tutoring after school, credit recovery, mentor programs, and teachers that stay after school to help. And you still think the teachers are at fault.
