It turns out an elm tree planted more than a century ago on the grounds of the John Brown House in Providence isn't stricken with Dutch Elm disease after all.

How rare are these trees that they are being diagnosed with diseases such as dutch elm disease? In Minnesota they had a big riot because some builders wanted to bulldoze an old town tree because it was diseased. http://shadywoodtreeexperts.com/11278/11341.h...
