i AM SHOCKED FRO M ALL TH E cENTRAL fALLS nEWS THAT I'VE READ HERE TODAY. GROWIN UP IN CENTRAL FALLS WAS SO PEACEFUL YEARS AGO WE COULD WALK FROM DEXTER STREET TO BROAD STREET TO DOWNTOWN PAWTUCKET TO THE YMCA ON FRIDAY NIGHTS IN THE DARK AND DANCE BY A DJ FOR SEVERAL HOUS AND WALK BACK TO OUR HOMES AFTER STOPPING AT GENES CREAMERY FOR ICE CREAM AND EVEN AFTER MY BOYFRIEND ENLISTED IN THE AIRFORCE AND I DID AS TOLD ME TO CONTINUE TO THE YMCA DANCES WHICH I DID WITH NO FEAR BUT I DIDN'T DO IT LONG AS I MISSED HIM. I JUST MEAN TO SAY THAT IT WAS SAFE TO GO ANYWHERE AT NIGHT WALKING---THE GOOD OLD DAYS.
