Don't freak out. The Second Amendment will never be repealed. There may be tighter restrictions and more rules, but as responsible law-abiding gun owners it shouldn't bother us too much. Keeping guns out of the hands of those who would abuse the right only makes it better for us all.

No one needs an Assault Rifle unless it has been issued to you, in my opinion.

How do you suggest keeping these guns out of abusive hands? More rules? More rules and restrictions on responsible law-abiding GUN owners?

We are supposed to be armed in the case that our govt oversteps its bounds. That was the intent. Obviously the fathers didnt forsee the weapons of today. It was not for hunting it was put there for civilian defense. You start imposing rules and taxes and it wont end until only criminals have guns. I am getting my carry permit this year

There have been at least 11 pieces of anit-gun legislation introduced since 1-4-13. Many of which specifically mention semi-automatic rifles AND pistols. Get your facts straight before you open your mouth and spew off your baseless claims.

Yep... Ban 'em. FBI statistics for 2011: 496 killed with clubs. 323 killed with rifles. Clubs and bats kill more people than rifles in America.

I don't understand why the rest of these idiots can't figure that out. Oh wait yeah I can...FoxNews, Glen Beck and the NRA have put fear into the American people. And these people want to compare our president to hitler. Really? Because hitler used fear to control his people.

An AR-15 is a semi-automatic!! There is the problem, people going off saying they need to go. don't even know what they are!!! It is a semi-automatic rifle with a pistol grip, that's all. It just looks like a fully automatic machine gun!!
