Right, dougie. Get busy judging and stoning! And don't forget the mental gymanstics that will allow you to reconcile all those miracles with reality.

I always find it so funny whenever one is locked in conflict all we ever do is dig our heels in and always fight harder for what we think is right. I'm not here to judge anyone (certainly on Topix no less) and I truly wish good things in the future for you and your family. A gentlemans agreement to agree to dis-agree. I've heard alcoholics say they wish they never drank the first drop, addicts say they wish they never took the first hit and gamblers say they wish they never seen a casino, but I've never heard anyone say they're glad they never let Jesus in their heart and lived for God. You may not want that cause it WILL change your life forever for the better. May God bless you! PS-Louisville (U of L)
I used to be a Christian.
I wish I never let the lie of god and the bible "enter" my heart.

I'm glad I an atheist
..
I'm glad to raise atheist children
..
I'm glad to have an atheist wife.

There's one thing we can all know and agree on: There will be no atheists in hell.

In my opinion: The atheist group or groups active in Muhlenberg and western Kentucky have a lot of time on their hands. Maybe they don't have jobs. Nothing like a good day's work to make a person feel of value. I'm just hypothesizing that perhaps this atheist woman and her followers should get jobs. Doesn't she home school her kids? Maybe she should spend more time studying and helping them. Maybe the freedom from religion group should go out and get jobs and then see how much they feel like running their mouths.

And I've said it before - stop giving them what they want -- attention.

Shhhhhhhh,,,,,,,,,, People won't know you're stupid if you will quit typing. The worst school mass-murder in American history happened in 1927. I don't think they had taking God out back then. 38 students dead and 7 adults.
<quoted text>
Just so I'm clear where you're at on the subject (and if I'm wrong tell me). You believe that this young man went into a school of helpless children and opened fire killing all those people and you think it's a sad incident that is wrong and horrible but the story sadly ends there? That there is NO afterlife or eternity? No final judgement? No hell for people like him? Not being smart I just want your opinion.
"You believe that this young man went into a school of helpless children and opened fire killing all those people"- That's the story

"... it's a sad incident that is wrong and horrible but the story sadly ends there?"- I dont know if it goes any further.... lawfully speaking..

"That there is NO afterlife or eternity? No final judgement? No hell for people like him That there is NO afterlife or eternity? No final judgement? No hell for people like him?"- All these question which should be statements are all facts.

The difference in satanists and atheists is that the satanists willfully and openly do the Devil's work. Atheists are doing his work too, they are just too ignorant and/or naive to realize it.

Doug you might be right about them turning to God when they are dying. My aunt was an atheist. But when she started down hill in her old age, I noticed that the bible showed in her reading. Until then it had always been newage crap. She also started asking my mom about religion and God. I wont say that she died saved or anything, but you can tell she had questions and was wondering about it.

A kid in New Mexico just gunned down his family. His dad was a pastor, so I think we can assume he was familiar with the Bible. How does this fit into your logic?
I think a lot of African Americans and gays are glad they aren't living fifty years ago. And women.
Ever heard of a logical fallacy called post hoc ergo propter hoc?

I hope she did! The more I see the more I'm confident that there is more to this life than just our years on earth. I do not believe this whole world and our existence on it was put together by some random chance.
"Only a fool would say there is no God" - not my words, but no truer words ever spoken and a direct quote from the One who would know.
