Just in case any of his family sees this, know that there are people who loved and cared about him. From the people he worked with to his immediate family. God must have needed him and know that he will always be with you in your heart. Stay strong and cherish the memories you have of him and he will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your kind words. We have seen over the last 5 days how many people loved, cared for and respected David. Nearly 1300 people attended the visitation/service.....many having to park a half mile away and walk to the church. There was no room left in the church...people were seated in the choir loft, extra chairs and many people stood around the aisles and walls and in the foyer. We are grateful for all of the prayers that have beeen and continue to be lifted for us. We need them. There is a void in our lives that will never be filled.

So glad to hear that so many people came. I was among those that had to park and walk. I would do it all over again for David! Didnt get to see him much but I grew up with him and was practically around him every day. Yeah we aggravated each other sometimes as kids but Blake was a true friend. He always made a point to speak to me when he seen me out. There is a hole in my heart that he's gone but to his wife, daughter, Joe, Yvonne, Jason & Amy and his nephew you are truly in our thoughts and prayers. Blake was always a real cut up and could get us to laugh at the craziest things.

I didn't get to make the funeral,I knew him and found him to be a genuine man, a great person and real in a world much needing more people like him.
Blake will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to his family. Know that his time on earth meant something and rest with the promise you'll see him again in Glory.....
