This doesn't even deserve a reply but the guy who killed the woman and kids has no connection whatsoever with Matt Perkins, the principal at Muhlenberg County High School. One has to "stretch their imagination" to even find crap like this, much less try to make anything of it! Matt Perkins the Principal is a Class Act. Muhlenberg's lucky to get him.

Class act?? Please tell me you're joking! The teachers HATE Matt Perkins and most of the parents do too. Of course, he threatened to fire any teacher that spoke negatively about the way things are done at the high schools now, so who can blame them? Lucky to get him? We'd be lucky if he went back where he came from and took Dale Todd and the rest of the central office with him!!

That doesnt surprise me. I heard of another principal from some larger city doing that in a neighboring county about 15 years ago. That principal ended up in trouble for something and the county was so glad to get her out of there. What about the old saying 2 heads are better than one? I havent met anyone who has all the answers to everything yet. Actually good ideas and well intended suggestions should be appreciated. To me this shows ones lack of being open minded to suggestions thus being unwilling to learn.

Bigger is not always better. There is a county in Tennessee( Lincoln) that has nearly the same population as Muhlenberg in the 2000 census. They are building a new city high school in the largest city(Fayetteville pop. 6900 in 2000). This will allow Fayettville to have an already existing 9th grade academy, a 10-12 city high school and the county school in Fayetteville also.) They have found that bigger is not necessarily better.
