The grant to fund the project expired Dec 2009. I've heard a couple of Co Commissioners worked together and got the poles erected and that is all that has been done to any one's knowledge. Footdragging is the trend in this County and in this case the County Mayor did not even bother to drag his feet or the sirens (5 years later) would be up and running. His campaign slogan of 'results' is just a repeat of many yrs under his direction & command.
