You are so full of it. First off, I am completely aware of my surroundings, thank you. I grew up on Morrison St. Know where that is? You should if you grew up on the Avenue. I don't think the topic had anything to do with job opportunities, but we'll go that route if you must. No there isn't a lot of opportunities, just like most small towns. That's why I commute to Columbia five days a week. As for my church, if it is any of your business, I do not attend the church of christ but baptist. Crime and drugs my dear are ANYWHERE you go. Don't blame your upbringing or who your family is as to how you are treated. Mine were not thought well of, both addicts, but I did something about it. I got student LOANS and went and got an education. It is all what you make it. Only you control your outcome. You think highly of the education system? Great example for you then would be Mr. Burlison. He did not come from money but changed his life for the better by having determination and look where he is now. Doing very well. Great man! Because he wanted a great life for himself and his family, and I am sure he didn't blame any of his misfortune on anyone else.
Oh, and I didn't say you were ignorant. Obviously you just already knew that.
Tell me what educational job opportunities or for that matter positive influences that anyone in centerville tn has excluding 45 minute drives to Columbia or Dickson. Perhaps I'm not aware of the local apprenticeship programs , local internships or community college outreach programs. I look forward to your response to these misunderstandings. Some people such as people on the avenue don't have cars and I am not misfortunate I was not lazy I got an education thank you and work in the medical field. I'm just saying alot of people do not have that same opportunity as we did and not out of laziness either. People should be more involved with the community the children and more educational opportunities there locally and maybe people wouldn't have to sell drugs to get a head start. And murders wouldn't happen. Thank you for your time and opinion again

You crack me up. When did I EVER say that there were any job opportunities, internships, etc. I am aware that there is a lack od job opportunities. You are too freaking funny. I mentioned what church I go to ONLY because you assumed, or rather, suggested I attended Centerville Church of Christ. Also, I am completely aware that people don't have the the opportunity to have their own vehicle. Neither did I until I walked to Breeces Cafe two days a week and saved my money to buy one for $500. My point was and is still that if you want something bad enough then you'll do what you have to in order to get it. Drug dealing is not an honest line of work and there is NO excuse for it. Period. And I do believe that is what this was about in the first place. So let's get back on topic shall we. Or would that be too boring for you? From the other posts on other forums I have seen from you, seems as if you like conflict and bad mouthing people on line where you can hide behind your computer.

I have been reading the comments on here and would like to fill some of you in on a little information. First I want to say that I feel sorry for Mr. Waters's family. Second, his family members are the only ones I feel sorry for. I live close to the Centerville town square. Many a night, I would see Mr. Waters wandering around in the area walking near the square or on some of the side streets around the square. I would just sit there and watch cars, one after the other, pull up to him and make transactions with him, or some of the others who were his "partners". I am not stupid or naive enough to believe that Mr. Waters was doing anything else other than selling drugs to the people he was meeting up with out there. Not only had he been arrested for possession of drugs, but several of the people I would see him hanging around with out there were arrested for drugs also. Take for example the guy that allegedly murdered him, Brent Frazier. Anyone who knows this guy knows that he has been selling crack cocaine for years. His brother Brandon Frazier who used to stay with him did the same thing. Matter of fact, he's in the Hickman County Jail as we speak serving a sentence for selling cocaine. Another example is a guy Mr. Waters would always be seen with around the square, Marcus Grimes. Mr. Grimes is also in the Hickman County jail serving time. And guess what for, SELLING COCAINE. The paper reported that Mr. Waters was carrying $15,000 on him the night he was murdered. Now you tell me, how does a guy with no job come into that kind of cash money? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. So do I feel sorry for Mr. Waters family, yes, absolutely. No ones family deserves to see their son murdered like he was. But then I wonder what these guys actually thought that this "gangster" lifestyle was going to get them. The only thing that selling drugs will get you is either dead or in jail. You can only do it for so long before the police, or someone else catches up with you and deals with you accordingly. The only drug dealers that benefit from what they do are the ones portrayed in the movies. These kids nowadays are living in a fantasy land where they think that being a "thug" actually makes people fear and respect them. In fact it does just the opposite and makes people to despise them and want to take what they have. I don't know why everyone was so shocked by this murder. If you knew who the guy REALLY was and what he did, then you wouldn't have been surprised at all. And to say that all the police here are all "crooked" is an ignorant statement from an ignorant person. If those comments were true, I don't think you would be seeing all of these people being arrested and charged with drug offenses. Seems to me like they are doing their jobs, and doing them well. Want to know what really goes on in this county as far as crime? Stroll on down to the Circuit Court Clerk's Office or to the Hickman County Jail and request to look and some of the crime reports or at some of the arrest warrants that have been served. I'll bet the local newspaper here doesn't even print a third of the arrests or crimes that occur here everyday. In response to "hickman girl" saying that there are more people here on drugs than not I say this, I think that is totally untrue. If more people would speak up and not be afraid to report the kind of activity that goes on around here I think that there would be a lot less drug activity in the county. I may be wrong for saying this but at least there is one positive outcome in all of this. Two people for sure, will never deal drugs again on our streets. Hopefully the others will take notice and stop doing what they are doing. Sadly though I think they will not. It seems that every time the police put one of these people away, another one takes their place or our system releases them to go out and deal again, "schooled" in jail on how better to not get caught.

If the killers took a large amount of money from the deceased and he was a drug dealer, it is possible that the money might have belonged to a drug supplier. You do not steal money that belongs to suppliers without consequences because profit is their bottom line. I feel sorry for the families of all involved.
