My mother and grandmother knew this woman. We went through her lines several times whe she worked at Publix. At the time, I usually just ignored her while she and my mother talked. It was amazing how their pasts were so alike. Now, I regret not even saying 'Hi'. :( That dude needs to be locked away forever. R.I.P Wendy, you will have justice. All your troubles are over.

I know Billy well and I must say I don't think anyone who knew him ever saw this coming. Everyone knew of the problems he had in August with Wendy. Billy is not "scum", he's a hardworker who would give you the shirt off his back. He had his demons just like everyone else. I think the question everyone should be asking is why was she with him after claiming he abused her, it doesn't appear she was forced to go with him to the hotel? What happened that led to her getting killed? It's not our place to pass judgement on someone, that's left to a higher authority.

Moonlight your reading comphrehension skill are lacking. I never said "Billy would give you the shirt off his back so he's justified in killing his girlfriend". I was merely making a point that who are we to judge someone as scum when we weren't there to witness what happened. In America people used to be innocent until PROVEN guilty, obviously you don't believe that to be the case any longer. I'm sure Billy's family doesn't appreciate someone labeling him as "scum", suppose they read your post? Sounds pretty cold to me! I'm simply making an assertion that it's not our place to judge Billy Troope until ALL the facts about this horrible event are out.

Okay, PredatorHunter. Let's review. The news revealed today she was BRUTALLY beaten to death. Somewhere Billy is alive and well, unbeaten. There is a history of Billy beating Wendy. Wendy joins so many other women in a fatal attraction to men who prey on insecure women. So you're saying this justifies Billy's actions? You still believe he's a good guy? Like another post - the world is in the mess it's in because the good men allow the bad men to live. You don't like the word scum? Okay, let's replace it with MURDERER. Or how about Bully? i saw wendy a few times at publix and she was very nice and its sad at what happened. alcohol played a part in this. before they went went to the hotel, they were at applebees. they were only there for about an hour an a half. but when they were there, they each had about 6 shots. they left around 8:30 i believe, only reason i know is because i was there till 10. so alcohol definitly had a part in it

Lone Wolf, I agree! My sympathy to you for your loss. We,as well recently lost a loved one to a coldblooded murderer(s).My son Scott was murdered in August and NOT ONE person has come forward...he has two young sons who will Never get to grow up with him.My heart has been shattered. Knowing who did it and why will not bring him back, but knowing the demons go to prison for the rest of their lives would keep them from doing it to someone else or for another family to go through it.My prayers are with you!

Once again Moonlight your reading comphrehension skills are lacking. NOT ONCE have I said or even suggested for that matter that "Billy Troope was justified in killing his girlfriend". I don't know where you get the idea that I did. The American justice system is based around the idea that someone is INNOCENT until proven guilty. The reason we don't need anymore idiots like Lonewolf is because vigilante justice doesn't work. What happens when some moron like Lonewolf goes out and kills somebody because of a crime they have been ACCUSED (NOT CONVICTED) of and it turns out that person was innocent? The person performing the vigilante justice just became the criminal. Instead of making up things like "So you're saying this justifies Billy's actions?" when I never said such a thing, why don't you attack the principle of my argument that people are INNOCENT until proven guilty? Were you in the Motel room when the incident happened? Did you see with your own eyes what happened? If not, you have no room or authority to pass judgement.
