I don't understand some of these business people. You would think they would want to help the town they do business in. But I guess when money is involved then it's a different subject.
My daughter lives in Centerville and she went to baking school up in St. Paul and now she just needs to do her extern-ship for the next 6 weeks and she will get her degree as a baker. The place she will do her extern-ship does not have to pay her any wages. All they have to do is let her help them and learn from them. To me I see it has a give and take situation. They give her just 6 weeks and they learn some unique French pastries. Or could it be because of her last name? I sure hope not, but I get the same treatment in the home town I live in also.
