You'll probably have a hard time finding people outside Harrisburg who think the Pennsylvania Legislature shouldn't be reduced in size.

Here is an idea. Why does each member of the House and Senate have their own individual offices and associated expenses. Why not have a pool of support employees that can answer to multiple persons. Say one secretary for 5 or 6. Cut employees and office and supply expenses. It is like hundres of individual practices! We could save a ton!

"Giving these people decades to phase out these jobs is probably the only way it will ever happen."

Never did put any stock in the "it's better than nothing" justification.

If we are truly living in a democracy, and the majority of us want the change, why can't we change it?
A. Too lazy
B. Not truly living in a democracy
C. Majority doesn't want the change

Argall should be suppported, fully, by Alloway and Rock. Is he? What happened to Kauffman's bill? Never got out of committee?

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Scorpio

Don't let yourself be caught up in a crowd mentality. Just because someone else makes a major production out of what should be a simple matter, doesn't necessarily mean that it has to affect you adversely. You might be able to bring down the volume with a tap on the shoulder and a meaningful look. Even though it might not seem like it, your cool head is definitely appreciated at times like this.
