Just wondering if anyone can give me places to take our kids sledding around town.

The most well known place within city limits is the Sycamore Country Club. Don't be surprised to run into hundreds of sledders throughout the course. There are literally endless hills ranging from beginner to deadly :)

If you want sledding fun & a good camp fire too, take a little drive out to Germantown Metropark.
Take SR 73 to downtown Franklin.
Turn R at bottom of hill.
Turn L onto SR 123 & cross Great Miami River.
Keep going on SR 123 thru Carlisle, until the road hits SR 4, then turn R.
Turn L onto SR 725, drive through Germantown, over bridge & continue up big hill.
Turn R onto Boomershine Rd.
The address is 6206 Boomershine Rd, on the right near the end.
Don't bring alcohol!

Do you have to have a membership to sled there.

No you don't need a country club membership to sled at Sycamore Creek.
If you've not been there before, the long hill at Germantown Reserve is definately worth the drive (see post above).
Another pretty good spot to sled, especially for kids, is at the Miami Cemetery located in Corwin OH. It's located at the east side of the Little Miami River just a short walk up the hill from the bike trail.
