The saddest part is that it took them a year and a half of the two year operation to come up with the name "Operation Boltcutter".

Because the FBI established a new office in Centerville last year. They moved some of their operations out of the federal building downtown. Best guess is that those involved in this "boltcutter" operation are in the new building.

I would have called it "Operation I sure hope someone call's the tip line so I don't have to get off my fat arse and do some work". It probably wouldn't have looked good on a T-shirt though.

And yet they still can't catch those durn Duke boys and their moonshine operation. They must have jumped an under-construction bridge over the Ohio River into West Virginia. Some day the mountain might get em, but the law never will.

The "moonshiners" only seem to be bilking the government out of the "alcohol tax". Those who buy the moonshine from them only endager themselves. The ones being targeted under this "operation" using their weapons endanger the innocent.

Just curious... how many crimes have you solved lately? Not counting your sitting at home and watching CSI.

You are exactly right. Law enforcement cracks a big crime ring such as this, and all they get are these stupid, sarcastic, moronic remarks. I guess it makes them feel intellectually superior to take the low road and criticise law enforcement no matter what they do. They take enforcement on something, they get the nasty remarks, they don't take enforcement on something, they get the nasty remarks. Same kind of people who would probably criticise firefighters for not being instantly at the scene and instantly being able to put out a fire, completely save the building, etc. These types of people are the antidote to happiness. Not happy unless they are going along with a crowd and making sarcastic remarks. Never anything positive.

Net Guru "expect the worst" says it all. Complete pessimist, a glass half empty person. Never happy unless he's raining on someone's parade--guess it would be too much to ask to spread any GOOD will.
