This is an example of the typical tea party agenda - first to demand services, last to be willing to admit there is a price tag for those services. Go to a restaurant, tell them you want all you can eat, but you want the guy across the room to pay for it! Say no to the crazed right wing extremists and yes to 3!
You can't be as stupid as you sound;
but obviously, seeing circumstances clearly are blinded by YOUR tunnel vision of collectively spreading the wealth around just because this works best for the big government agenda -- you know, the big scary government that is all about seizing MORE OF OUR MONEY and gaining control of COLLECTIVE POWER OVER INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS?

I would hope a sensible person would actually check into the facts and not just slander or commit libel against another person. Nice thing about a on-line post--- IP addresses, nothing is anonymous.(maybe that is just black helicopter stuff or being neurotic)
I will pay my share. I pefer to know services are there when I need them.

How do you not see the hypocrisy of your own hate?

Yes, we have issues with big government wasting millions of dollars on crap we don't need. The federal government is where that issue really lies. Locally we actually see our dollars back in services WE actually use. When you pay for something here you actually see it in services available for you.

And on the "scare tactics" thing. If you pay any attention to the campaign the guys have put together so far, the so called "scare tactics" has had very little mention. Instead they talk about things like the fact that its been 12 years since they had a single levy or levy request... They already ARE doing more with less. You can only stretch a dollar so far. Instead of demonizing your neighbors and the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting yours, vote out the government officials you don't like to bring about actual change.

Sounds like you kool-aid drinkers are getting scared about this levy failing...as it should, especially with the goons running the township. Or is that a veiled threat ?

How many hours a day do you cheapskates spend on this website posting the same crap over and over? Don't you realize the irony here?

You are so worried about posting the most up to date-hate, that you are becoming the people you so despise. Being lazy, and unproductive...

Well done...

I've read both sides of this debate, but kept out of it so far. The ambulance was just down my street a little bit ago. Made me wonder if those against the levy have ever needed 911. Its tempting to go without car insurance because I've never had a crash in 47 years. But I know better, just wonder if others have considered that. I'm sure my neighbor appreciated having the ambulance and EMTs there quickly.

So? Just because it has been a long time since the township government has had NEW MONEY, then we are supposed to just "trust the trustees" and vote yes??? Just don't think so!
How can we trust the Gabbard/Wade vote for increased taxes; when
these same trustees refused to "trust" that we the taxpayers could use our own hard-earned money to better use than the government?

Now you "lovers of spreading the wealth around" can bully all you like on the this blog, falsely accusing those who disagree with you of being "unpatriotic" or whatever who think gets the most "bang" out of "bashing" your neighbors. Go right ahead and exercise your rights to free speech; BUT, you don't have the RIGHT to tell others that their exercise of free speech is "hate."
So, get over yourself; we're not going to "just get along" by going along with "your way of spreading OUR wallets" even thinnner by voting ourselves INCREASED TAXES on our homes.

JUST VOTE NO TAX INCREASES ON OUR HOMES IN MAY AND VOTE YES FOR THE GOVERNMENT CUTTING EXPENSES. WE MUST CONTINUE SPEAKING
"NO NEW TAXES" LOADLY -- IT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN BE HEARD
BY TOWNSHIP GOVERNMENT LEADERS.

Speak as loud as you want, those who value our safety and community outnumber you by far. You'll need to select a different means for pushing your agenda of hate toward the elected officials, perhaps when their term expires.

The township now has an Assistant Fiscal officer Craig Colston, are the township's taxpayers now paying another person so Mrs. Oda can do two jobs that she was elected too? Does she get a salary from the township and the county? Benefits?
The December 13th 2012 minutes have some salaries listed on the second page. There are some hefty salaries for a "Bedroom Community", how much do the retirement and health insurance add to those salaries?
Here's a question for our neighbors who are rallying to pay increased taxes; and bullying others to agree.

Township voters pay the part time fiscal officer (who works full time in the elected position of Warren County Recorder, but don't know what full time salary is collected from Warren County taxpayers for the Recorder's position) but the township homeowners pays the fiscal officer $28,176.00 salary.
Plus, the fiscal officer has an assistant who is paid $21.86 hourly. Now people, why is the township homeowner being billed $21.86 hourly for an assistant to work for the fiscal officer?
Now we actually have Part Time FF/EMT pay at $12.71/hourly!
If your house is on fire or if you need emergency ambulance service, which would you rather be paid with your tax dollars --
the fiscal officer assistant that saves the fiscal officer time; or the FF/EMT that saves the taxpayers lives and property?

VOTE NO WAY IN MAY TO PAYING INCREASED TAXES ON OUR HOMES:
OUR TOWNSHIP GOVERNMENT DOES NOT NEED MORE MONEY!
OUR TOWNSHIP TAXPAYERS NEED GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP WITH MORE EXPERTISE MANAGING THE TAXPAYERS MONEY!

Vote YES on Issue 3!
Hear us roar.... join with township trustee who truthfully serves the public's best interest and vote no increased taxes on our homes and yes to cutting government expenses.

Vote No to Increased Taxes on our homes... this will allow our government leaders to cut expenses, starting with big admininstrative costs of the unnecessary hiring of the second fire chief assistant.$85,525 annual salary plus big cost of benefits
will cut the fire department budget; allowing the fire department workers to continue our excellent public safety services.
Our township government can problem solve CUTTING EXPENSES, with NO CUTS IN SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC.

Thanks for your permission to "Speak as loud as wanted"...
Our loud voice of NO NEW TAXES is exercising our rights of free speech, which fortunately at this time your permission is not essential! But, thanks for the courtesy, neighbor to neighbor!

Just for the public record on this blog -- No one has permission NOR the right to falsely accuse those who oppose increased taxes on our homes as "pushing your agenda of hate toward elected officials." Stop bullying your Neighbors with whom you disagree!

Our township trustees (elected officials) who voted YES to increased taxes are NOT VICTIMS of hatred... they are just servely misguided into thinking the government tells the people what they want us to do for them; instead of the other way around.

Let's Rally for No Increased Taxes on our Homes in May; And send a clear message to our elected officials to CUT GOVERNMENT EXPENSES, with NO CUTS IN SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE!
