Now if NALC can get over still accepting gays (clergy and laity) as not needing to repent, women ministers, an open attitude toward evolution, etc, it might get close to what 75% Christian churches are teaching. All these underscore a shaky Doctrine of Scripture undermining NALC's claim to not be as liberal as the ELCA they left. They still have all the problems -- without actively gay pastors.
