Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A subject is in custody pending formal charges for domestic assault.

* Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court for negligent burning and tampering.

* Lord L. Gwen, no age given, 4217 County Road 620, was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Summonses

* Brent J. Knaup, 25, 1419 Rolling Fields Drive, Jackson, was issued a summons for peace disturbance.

* Ryan S. Rainwater, 23, Piedmont, Mo., was issued a summons for peace disturbance.

* Jeremy T. Williams, 25, 57 Green Acres Drive, was issued a summons for interfering with an arrest, resisting arrest and trespassing.

* Sonja N. Williams, 21, 57 Green Acres Drive, was issued a summons for interfering with an arrest, resisting arrest and trespassing.

Assault

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* License plates were reported stolen at 515 Cape Meadows Circle.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 1535 Grandview Drive.

* Copper and aluminum were reported stolen from 632 Good Hope Street.

* Fraudulent use of a debit device was reported.

Property damage

* A 2007 Chevrolet was repoted damaged at 3261 William St.

* A 2003 Chevrolet was reported damaged at 545 S. Spring Ave.

Miscellaneous

* A 40-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Failure to return to confinement was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Assault

n An assault was reported in the 100 block of South Farmington Road.

Theft

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

* Property was reported damaged in the 100 block of North Georgia Street

This is very true. Our home got broken into last month and alot of exspensive jewelry and electronics were taken. They advised us this week that our case was closed because they had no witnesses. Maybe they didn't have anyone to see it but we told them who we thought might have done it and they won't go talk to them. They first told us it would take at least six months for the finger prints to come back and now they all of a sudden are closing our case. To much paper work, I guess

I don't know who just judged this as spam. Evidently you have never had your home broken into and had to go thru what we did to try to get someone to do their job. After all we are taxpapers & pay their salary. So don't judge my comments again like that

have these breakins just started recently? I kno a group that jus, few months ago,moved there and they are thiefs
