I am a single mom with 2 kids. I have worked at the same com. for over 13 yrs. I got divorced from a mexican back in 2005 & we went in front of Judge Bart Stanley with our lawyers being Mrs. Tammy Ross & Stephen Roller. For reasons no one knows of. The judge gave my daughter to her father & she was born here in McMinnville being a citizen here. Her father isn't legal & could care less about getting legal. He had a couple of women that had been in trouble for different things like possession of a prescription & 1 other had charges for possession of a controlled substance bound over to the grand jury. I even have to pay child support which started out at $131. a wk. then I got it reduced to $104. after my 2nd child was born. I had took my ex back to court in front of the same judge to get my daughter back & I had a different lawyer which I got Billy K. Tollison. For some reason the judge still let my ex keep custody of our daughter with him knowing that my ex doesn't have a license anymore & that he can't get them again cause he doesn't have his papers. Plus while he was on the stand he was lying about alot of stuff & the judge could tell he was but it didn't make any difference. The judge even sent our lawyers to get my 6 yr. old to bring her to court to see if she could shed any light on anything that he was lying about. I think that he takes the money for my daughter & spends it on getting cars to drive. He has 2 Camaros, 1 Monte Carlo, plus he has recently gotten a Motorcycle. Tammy Ross had a father in court a couple of wks. after mine & she didn't think that the guy should have his kids cause his license were going to run out. She said that he would be jeopardizing his childs life while driving w/o a license. So tell me what difference it should have made wether he is white or a mexican. I don't believe that is right no matter what kind of lawyer you are. My ex is putting my childs life in danger everytime he gets in a car w/her. Even his family doesn't have a license or his girlfriend & my daughter rides with both of them. They are not legal either. If anything happens to her while she is with them the County of Warren should have to pay for anything that my child needs no matter what it is. If push comes to shove I will sue Warren County .

It weird how an illegal mexican can get a child that was born in the United States! I would have toke this to a bigger judge and fought for whats right! And to hear that the laywer of your ex was fighting for something she help do in another case because she thinks it wrong, makes my hair rise up. I dont blame your for being mad what so ever. You do everything you can do to get your child back. She deserves to be with her mother that brought her into this world, not some illgeal mexican that cant even get his lisences. If you ever see him out with her or without her you need to contact the cops and tell them were he's at and what he is doing and how he is doing things to put a childs life in danger.
I hope the best for you. Be strong and hold your head up!

I think that wahile he was in court he should have been took to jail. Is that not what is supposed to happen when you are in this country illegal. That is what is wrong with this country and one reason we are so running out of money. If we didn't have to provide food stamps, housing and tenncare for the illegals then we would have money to help ours here at home. In my opinion when they go in to get help they should be picked up by law enforcement and shipped back to where they come from. If they have children here, then someone else should get to raise them. We may not have so many people unemployed if so many people didn't work illegals and get by with it.

Did you have these same feelings when you were involved with this guy? Probably not. I believe there is much more to the story than we are getting. I cant believe that a competent judge would ever do this without some good reason not to put them in your custody. What was the reasoning the judge gave?

I have always felt that way. That a mexican shouldn't have their kids if they are not legal so yes my feelings were the same & al he had was a ho,a druggy,& 1 bound over to the grand jury for possession of controlled substance.

Key word here is COMPETENT judge... the judges here are either paid off or are a friend of a friend and care more about thier status standing at the country club than they do people they don't know. He was just probably wanting to get this settled and go play golf.
Something is seriously wrong with this town.

I kind of doubt that the country club has too many illegal immigrants frequenting. I also don't see as how releasing children to an illegal instead of their legal mom would help ones standing there. I still believe there is more to the story than we are hearing. I dont have any knowledge of this case or know anyone involved including the judge.

You have a point their cause I just found out afterwords that the judge likes to go fishing. Furthermore I would say that the judge is good friends with the lawyer he had cause her husband is a judge here also. Thank you for being so understanding.

For one thing if u have never been their then u don't have a right to judge people. Sometimes u don't know everything when u get involved until it is to late so don't be judging people if u don't know me or the people involved.

Don't misunderstand what I am saying. If everything you say is true, then you are crazy to not fight with everything you have to get your kids back.. I am simply saying that this sounds fishy.

I'm not talking about the judges making deals with illegals, i'm talking about them making deals with each other.
There are only two judges. The illegal mans laywer is one judges wife. Whose to say that they weren't all sitting around one day making deals. They are going to be careful not to step on each others toes and they don't care who else is in the mix. The judge didn't even consider that the man wasn't legal when he gave him custody. Personally I think that if someone is illegal, which means they are breaking the law something should be done when they go into a court and announce it. To me thats about the same as driving drunk up to a police station and hanging out talking to the cops and getting back in the car and going home.
As far as being with a person who isn't legal, when you get married you can start paperwork to become legal fairly easily. A lot of people gain citizenship that way. I think the point is the judge knew about it and looked the other way.

I see a lot of this around and that is not just here in McMinnville. Why are they even getting help from the government if they are not US citizens? How can that be, when a US citizen can try to get help and they are denied? What is this country coming to, it is aw ful that a person that needs help can not get it and the US is giving this non legals jobs and not those that are US people.. Our 4 fathers will be turning in their graves..

As for the women and her kids fight it get a lawyer that is not involved some one from another county.

I work in customer service and I see it all the time where I work and the only ones suffering is the kids.. Fight it girl get them kids back

I won't disagree that the justice system is a "Good Ole Boy" network. It has always been who you know. But that is not limited to this county. I don't personally understand why illegals are not treated like any other law breaker. They should be deported immediately and enter the country like the laws are set up. Am I the only one upset that I am paying tax dollars that go to support welfare and food stamps and such for illegals?

The lawyer she has is a good one, its the mans lawyer who is involved with the judges. Unless its took in front of a judge in a different county not much is going to change.

Too many people are trying to be pc and are afraid of being called racist when they point out someone is illegal. The goverment is set up to where its illegal to discreminate, which it should be. The problem is that if you tell a hispanic person "sorry no i'm not going to give you something because your not a citizen" someone will yell racism and its either give it to them or be put on a s**t list for not being "fair"
The way things are set up you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.
What they need to do is give them 90 days to make it right or leave. Thats plenty of time to get permits to stay and start paperwork on becomming a citizen and if thats the case then let them have help from the goverment as long as they are trying to make it right, if not at the end of 90 days deport them no questions asked.

Well I will do whatever it takes to get my daughter back no matter what it is, but if the lawyer was a good one she shouldn't have even taken the case. My lawyer did tell me that if my has to spend 1 min. in jail for anything then i can take him back to court & get full custody with no questions asked but the question is , is how long will it take him to mess up. I was told by the lawyer I had before this 1 & she told me that it will be hard to get it sent to a different judge.

Hunny let me tell you that I work with alot of people that doesn't like the idea of us paying for the illegals to be here & get help from us when we can't even get help when we need it.
