She did not have her glasses on as required by law. Not that I think it would have made a difference. How in the world do you miss a school bus and three childen?... Lights or no lights. Again...she was NOT in control of her car.
She passed a school bus on her left, and three children on her right. After hitting the boy and driving on, she finally came back and thought she had hit a dog!
Good news though...there will be a trial, and then this foolishness will end. I do not have a doubt that Teri is going to be sued down to her shorts and eventually be indicted. That IS the good news. This will go past the local D.A. and out of her hands.
Election day is coming.

I just could not sit back and watch a bunch of people drawn into believing that this childs death was a result of anyone reaping what they have sown. I also don't believe that the bus driver and mechanics have any more horrible things to reap than you, myself, or anyone else. I hope that none of us get what we so richly deserve. I'f only I could tell what I truly know...No, I'm not perfect by no means, actually I'm no better than filthy rags, but I don't live a life of hypocrosy. People know who I am and what I'm about. They know my good qualities and unfortunately they know my faults. But, I do not hide it and I don't claim to be holier than thou either. I could tell things that would make your toes curl, but I choose not too. Gossip is never good and what we are doing here is not that great either. I'm just trying to make people aware that you can't judge a book by its cover.

I agree. We all come from dirt, live dirt, and die dirt...don't we. I hope that I'm a better person when I leave this world than when I came into it.
I guess that if it were about you, I wouldn't want someone telling me all of the things about you that I don't know...and don't want to know...that you have done wrong. I would want you to have the benefit of the doubt, and get to know you for who you are. I'll bet you are a nice guy. We have all hurt others...and been hurt.
If you had done something that appeared to be wrong, I would want you to be held accountable for that alone....and not for everything you had ever done that others didn't like. That is all that is relevant...and I would hope that you would come out of it better than you had gone into it.

Wow...Okay I don't know a single soul involved in this but my heart goes out to the parents of this little boy...

I do want to say that I've always had an issue with people going around cars that are stopped and waiting to turn or stopped for whatever reason...I may be wrong but that sounds like what happened here. I see this every day and it's something I will NOT do. Just stop and wait for the car to go...are we really in that big of a hurry to get where we need to go that we can wait 20-30 seconds? Someone could be getting out of the car, coming to the car or maybe the driver changes their mind about waiting to turn and goes straight...then there you go. You have your accident or in cases like this even worse. Just chill people...sit back, enjoy the ride and be patient.

Stop rushing through life...we already have such a short time here...Again many prayers have been going up from me for this family. I'm so sorry :(

Has anyone heard any more about this? I heard the parents received a chunk of money from the driver of the car and still has the county, bus driver and machanics to go.

The last I read they had to go to court and yes the parents did get a large amout of money.. I also heard they are letting the driver go back to driving but not to sure about that...

The driver came over a hill and the bus was facing the car. Both was on the side of the road they were suppose to be on. The bus just didn't have lights or the stop sign out. There was no way the driver could have known children were being picked up.

I think the bus driver should not be allowed to drive a school bus again. She had been driving 30+ yrs and knew better than to pick up kids with out lights.
