Anybody ever notice how "skanky" most of the people who eat at Ryan's is? I mean 80% of the people who eat there look like those guys in the movie "Deliverance." On "welfare check" day you can't hardly get in the place. It's pretty expensive so I can't figure out how these people can afford it. Check it out.

Because some folks doesn't have the money to eat steak at the Roadhouse, or the other high dollar places. Ryan's is cheap, but they could clean up a bit.

You kidding? Roadhouse and Cheddar's are just as cheap (if not cheaper) than Ryan's but you don't see all this trailer park trash hanging out over there. Most of the folks I see at Ryan's couldn't even get into Cheddars. It ain't got nothing to do with being poor. It's about being a civilized person.

Hey Giggles...these people aren't from Muhlenberg County. They're from Daviess, Mclean and Henderson Counties and from Indiana. I saw a big old fat guy a couple of weeks ago go through the lines, pile up his plate about a foot high and go to his table. His dirty overalls were unbuttoned on the sides and he wasn't wearing underwear. He took out his teeth and set them on his table while he "gomped" his food (about as much of it dribbling out of his mouth into his lap as going into his massive stomach). I guess the waitress (who also looked like she just had a fresh beating from her "old man") was impressed as she kept refilling his glass with tea. What a pig!

Never had eaten there so after reading about it on this thread wifey and I decided to try it. Man was it ever the truth. It looked like a Redneck convention. We wore clean jeans and sweatshirts and we were the best dressed people in the place.
They had some kind of chopped bar-b-q on the serving table and I watched this snotty nosed kid about eleven years old (literally, his nose was running and he was sweating like he had a fever or something) grab the dipper, take a taste of it right out of the same dipper and put it back into the serving tray. That's when we left. Was kind of funny up to that point.

I've noticed that about the Owensboro Ryan's also. I eat fairly often at the Ryan's in Hopkinsville and it doesn't seem to be that way. Mostly soldiers and decent looking people. The one in Owensboro surely must do something to attract the people they get. I haven't eaten there in over a year just because of what we're talking about here.
