2 We all feel for how the Suffolk County Police department has suffered. I hope they take comfort in that fact that most innocent people framed for murder stay in prison. |

2 They can take this opportunity to question him about other crimes....perhaps a certain double murder from 1988? Hmmm. |

2 Say what you want about Marty, but all you people saying he's guilty are only helping him out in the civil suit. One of the things he is alleging is that his reputation was destroyed by his arrest and conviction. And by you saying he did it you are helping him prove his allegation that his reputation is ruined. It is ruined because some people STILL insist that he murdered his parents. They're not even interested in hearing the very plausible explanations for why the physical evidence just doesn't point to him. I think that with this, like most things, people just want to believe what they want. That's what's very frustrating about human nature. |

2 You have to understand this is a petty crime, but Joey Creedon has an extensive record, two prior felony convictions for which he served time, so there will be higher bail set for this guy even if he's accused of a misdemeanor. |

1 To whomever judged this, how is it "spam"? I was stating a fact. Creedon DOES have two prior felony convictions for which he served time. Look at the New York inmate database. One conviction was for sexual abuse and the other was for attempted grand larceny. This time he was really stupid and stole a mere PlayStation. Normally, they'd probably give you a few thousand for bail if you steal some kiddie game, not in the hundreds of thousands. But he has priors, so they set it higher. Everyone knows that. You got priors they set bail higher. They make it harder for your ass to get out. DUH! to the idiot who called my message spam. P.S. here's the link to Joseph Creedon's inmate info: http://nysdocslookup.docs.state.ny.us/GCA00P0... If it doesn't automatically direct you, just type his name in the search fields. DUH! |

2 Marty is a punk. The bigger punk is his weasel lawyer Bruce Barket. |
||||
I for one think Marty is innocent. But, whether you believe Marty is innocent or guilty don't knock Bruce Barket. He was just doing his job. Everyone accused of a crime be they innocent or guilty is entitled to a defense. Do not knock their attorneys for doing their job. I think OJ is guilty as sin, but I still believe his attorneys are brilliant people. As for McCready, he was doing his job, but I think he did it negligently. Some people think he should go to prison for lying to Marty to extract that confession. I support Marty, but I don't think the detective did something wrong by lying and I certainly don't think McCready committed a crime as he wasn't under oath. The cops lie to extract confessions all the time. I do believe, however, that where McCready screwed up was when he didn't look at Steuerman. And I for one do think McCready is a very arrogant man. |

1 Attorneys are allowed to reimburse witnesses solely for things like travel expenses, any expenses incurred for their trouble, but not to pay them for testifying according to ethical rules. But, no Bruce Barket did not pay off a witness. That wasn't reported anywhere. |
