So why is it that it took my mother, a tenant for 2 years, three months to get repairs to her mailbox key so she could open her mailbox without difficulty. She has not been able to open the mailbox on numerous occasions and has been put off and ignored by management. The cabinet doors in her kitchen should have been reversed but nobody has addressed this. The roof leaked two years ago during a rainstorm. The repairs have still not been made. Who is Michaelian? Management has been extremely difficult for my mother to deal with. What part of managing their well-being is this addressing?

I am a tenant at The Waterfalls complex in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY and have been here for four years.
When applying for an apartment in 2005 I was spoken to professionally and friendly by the front office. After two visits and given the same great treatment by the front office I decided to take the apartment. During those four years I have had contact with the front office many times and treated with courtesy and respect.

The employees who work at the complex are hard working and good family people. They ARE NOT criminals and alchoholics as you say. And again as these great people performed any repairs in a timely manner it was with respect.

It is very unfair for anyone to generalize statements in an attempt to wrong The Waterfalls.

Are you sure we are speaking of the same place?

I have been a tenant at the Waterfalls complex for four years. During that time I have requested repairs and it was handled in a timely manner and I am very satisfied. On one occassion I had no heat in winter and a phone call to front office the maintance man arrived and repaired the problem in 30 minutes. You can not get better service than that....

Other repairs were also done professionaly and respectfully by the maintenance crew. My experience here has been very nice and will be signing a lease for another year.

I have personally seen the front office show concern towards the elderly tenants on many occassions. They have taken their own time to assist the elderly on some of their issues. I commend The Waterfalls for their interest of the well being of all tenants.

I am the management at The Waterfalls

as for Ms Segall; she lives in California. I have never had a conversation with her. Certianly she has never requested any repair from me. All she knows is what her mother tells her which may be just a little skewed.

as for KyKuntryKlub; You are clueless. the Sr. maintenance person has been here for 10 years, I have been here for 4. There is not a shred of truth to your rant. You have a mouth running on 8 cylinders and a brain working on 2.

OK KKK - Ms. Segall has been here since 2006. She has renewed her lease 3 times. What does that tell you?

As for you, I have never heard of anyone named Auerbach and there has never been anyone named Mike employed here. Lastly, I noticed that you have responded to just about every topic posted here. Obviously you have an opinion about everything and you know what they say about opinions. You might consult a mental health professional, there is a medical term for your condition.
You might notice the positive response from an actual tenant. I invite anyone interested in The Waterfalls to come tour our community and talk to the actual tenants.

Susan, you seem a little aggressive in your responses to the tenants. My wife and I were considering living at the Waterfalls, however, the atmosphere there seems a little hostile.

You got that right! The management and the maintenance staff are a bunch of thugs.(As is the case with many of these complexes)-Search for the thread about Village In The Woods (I believe it's on the Farmingville forum) to see the levels to which these places will stoop.

Answer to Original T Jefferson.
Again an answer from Kentucky to defame the employees here at the Waterfalls. What is your problem? Have you lived here at one time? It appears you are just an angry person venting a comment to just say nonsense.
I have been here for 5 years and have been given courtesy and respect from the Manager Susan on all occassions I have been in contact with the Administration Office. Susan has always been a professional in speaking to and handling issues that come to her attention. She is an asset to the Waterfalls Corp. as to how she interacts with the Senior tenants here. You have been either misinformed or venting your anger at the wrong senior complex here on Long Island.
As far as the maintenance group being thugs now I know you do not know what you are talking about. I have only seen cooperation and extra attention when needed to all tenants here. I have never seen nor heard any bad comments about them or their work.
Are you the same person from Kentucky that in April 2009 attempted to say inappropiate things about the Waterfalls? Please get you information straight before you make bad comments about anyone.

Please do not be so quick to judge Susan, Manager at the Waterfalls. Come on out to LI and see the Waterfalls complex it is beautifull, clean and well kept under Susans administration. She handles the complex issues that arrive at her office in a business and pleasant manner.

I have been here for 5 years and have spoken to Susan on a few matters and was handled in a professional manner.
