If you really don't know, you will find out in June 2013, during nominations. Kevin will show the village who is boss.

mam are you WAY OFF on your info. Good luck on the "nominations". Hhahahaha what a boob!

Saw the electric going in at Marina 1. Thank you MBPOA. For going against STUPIDITY and fixing the marinas. If Gary can do it, the MBPOA can do it.

i can't believe all of the hoops the village has been making people go through to get permits to fix sandy damage. they should be ashamed of themselves. denying someone's permit for a 3 inch difference on the plans? not giving people all of the information needed when they apply for permits. not even knowing what is needed. when i went to town of brookhaven to get a building permit to improve my home, i was given a written checklist with everything that i would need to get the permit. there is no such checklist in the village. people are forced to spend money hiring expediters, and lawyers.

that should be addressed at the next meeting.

3 inches makes a big difference, am I right? Be careful who you get for an expediter, one of them is a convicted former politician who took bribes. I wouldn't GAMBLE on hiring him.

why not. When the village hired him for "pr", it worked because the vision team won the re-election.
if he can rub the visions teams nose in it while getting it done also, win-win for the MBPOA.
What's the mater? Mad that you can't keep the marina closed? Go bitch to Gary, he's the only one listening.

$7,000 for what? Trying to make an illegal, two-story shed magically delicious and legal.

What a waste of member funds!

By the way. The Vision Team didn't do so well last year, even with all the ads. Forward Focus did great this year and without a single ad.

Good Luck. LOL

member money would not have had to be spent if the village would stoop f...ing with the mbpoa. mbpoa has bent over backwards doing everything the village has asked. they just keep adjourning the permit hearing. they refused to work with anyone. the only reason the village exists at all was to screw the mbpoa.

suing the mbpoa. what a waste of my TAXPAYER dollars.

Here's what you should do. Get a lawyer and tell him this story. Then when he asks you for evidence, you give him everything you have to prove your claims of bias by the village against the MBPOA.

Then when he stops laughing long enough to catch his breath, maybe you'll realize that facts count.

The only group that's responsible for the problems the MBPOA is having is their Board of Directors.

if the village wasnt suck di2ks, they wouldn't need to spend the money. How is putting a two story shed, that the DEC approved, worse then Gary shutting down a public rd and rebuilding HIS marina without permits? We get it, the village is out for the MBPOA. Wo wins? The Lawyers.

If they get the marinas opened in spite of the village, good for them.

But that is a problem of the members of that club.
Now, lets talk about how Gary didnt use approved materials for the repair of Riveria, and the village got a fine from the DEC. Lets talk about how much it will cost for remediation of the issue for removal of the ILLEGALLY used fill materials, and the cost to start all over once again with the repairs.
That is taxpayers money being pissed away.

I drove over to look at the road with the illegal fill.

DO NOT DRIVE ON RIVIERA IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR TIRES!

The road way with the illegal fill has metal rods and scrap metal all through it! I saw a piece of re-bar sticking out of the ground! I ask everyone to drive over and walk down the riviera, don't drive, and see for yourself. Gary said this was OK?

my tax money is being spent by the village for all of their questionable activities. i was at the workshop when they said that they were waiting for an environmental study before giving approval/permits to build in the triangle across from the high school (two weeks ago). someone has cleared the trees and is installing cesspools. there is no permit on display. where did they get permission to do this?

how can they expedite permits for someone who needed to perform an environmental and traffic study, but refuse permits for sandy victims to get back into their homes? this is just wrong.

this is the village wasting out tax money on old grudges.

FYI - the work being done across from the school is TOWN land and the TOWN is putting in a parking lot. The TOWN does not require a permit from the Village.

There you go again. Wrong on every point and you don't have a clue as to what's going on, but you falsely accuse the village of wrong doing.

It just goes to show how nothing you say is correct. You should change your screen name. Your reputation as a missinformed school parent is already known to all who read your posts.

Besides, it seems like your working overtime to attack the village and defend the MBPOA. I wonder if your a director. Maybe a new one who's trying a little too hard to fight for the team?

They are putting in a dunkin- donuts and basking robins there.
Just what the kids need before they go to school, more sugar. They are still not doing anything to help on Neighborhood Rd.
This village is going no where, they have no idea what they are doing.
Time to dissolve this thing. This is not the village we voted for.

First off, the village is not putting in the DD BR business, it is being done by an investor. Second, if you want to dissolve the village, which is posted about once a week, go ahead. For business to improve on Neighborhood Rd, the climate of the community will have to improve.

Business owners should be conscientious and keep their properties clean and inviting. Not many businesses are willing to do that unfortunately.
