Waterfront Planning Survey

Who designs these things? Could this thing be anymore disjointed if they tried?
Since when is a survey relevant when one village resident and their views carry more weight than another? Here they immediately divide us into 4 sub-groups. I suggest my subgroup divest itself from the village if this is the best level of professionalism they can provide.
If one has a general position about the survey, say LEAVE EVERYTHING THE HELL ALONE, one cannot continually enforce that message throughout this survey as the questions are primarily written from some agenda that, yes, they're going to do SOMETHING (yet to be revealed) and you have NOTHING to say about it.
Let's face it, we're a village run by those unqualified for the job. That stands for each and every one of them. New, old, founders, followers, we're simply screwed.
We're in a village where true code enforcement was the primary objective yet four years later and I don't think there's a single neighborhood that is truly better off than it was 4 years ago. Code enforcement is BLIND. They merely need to look past the ends of their noses to see blatant violations on every street in the village, yet the continue to drive on by. Must be looking for the doughnut shop - what a joke.
Time to pull the plug because the incompetency of the Town of Brookhaven has never looked better.

It's was on the village website. Apparently, they are under the delusion that they CAN do anything with the waterfront. How about this village idiots...leave the waterfront alone because you don't own it. There, no survey needed.
Unless they are talking about what to do with Stiriz marina once he goes into bankrupsey?

i finally saw a copy of this survey. it is ridiculous. they ask stupid questions. according to this survey, you are either a staunch naturalist or you want a commercial waterfront. how could we possibly have a commercial waterfront? just another attempt to make people think that they are part of the process, when in fact they are not.

There is enough traffic problems down in Mastic Beach let alone try to turn this into the Jersey shore. Enough is enough Maura. I see you are going to be on your way out by next election. We need someone in there competent enough to get this place straightened out.

you are such a dumb a$$ if you think this is brought to you by Maura. Geee, let's see..... Who lied to get a village so they can take the waterfront from the POA?
Who tried in the past, BEFORE Maura was elected, to re zone the ENTIRE waterfront for commercial development? Who owns 2 acres of land by HIS marina that he has been trying to get developed for years?
If you think this survey comes from Maura and NOT Bill, Gary and nick, then you are the true village idiot.
Keep up with the lies morons. Your 2 idiot friends were voted out last election, the next three are next. I can't believe you're this stupid to think Maura sent this out. Let me guess, you support Frank F and Paul? What an idiot.

It was written by an 8 year old child or at least a person with the intellect of an 8 year old.Leave the Marsh alone and there is not much you can do with it anyway. You have only where they dumped the dredge fill ,which is I would argue now Marsh,You need every bit of buffer you can keep between the bay and homes.Boardwalks like at Fire Island Light would be cool. Thats all you need,Develop Neighborhood Rd.
