To the mindless twit who is washing Garys truck, do you honestly think in "our moment of need", any village "employee" will be there to protect us? Well, yeah you will be, because you are washing his truck, but the rest of us are S.O.L.

State voted in down. No village "peace officers" for you. Sorry. Better luck next time.

Someone kindly brought up the posts that my secretary didn't want to bother bringing up to reference. The code enforcers that were temporarily deputized after Hurricane Irene for public safety reasons were licensed to carry. Big deal. Hysteria over nothing. Licensed and trained. Like the police. I'll fire my secretary for laziness and hysterical behavior. Thank you to the person that brought this to light. To the hysterical, do try to calm down. It was added protection for the community. What is wrong with that? I hope they are armed for the martian landing, too. AAAHHHH!
Look at that. You contradicted yourself AND proved that they were carrying weponds. You should spend less time washing Garys truck and more time paying attention to what really goes on. Try going to a meeting once in a while also.(If Gary lets you)

Here you go again. You don't remember the employees and trustees who stayed during the hurricane and the blizzard, and kept the area safe while coordinating emergency services? Who do you think kept everything running....the MBPOA? Yeah I know, they are not the government. But it is just a blatant lie to suggest the village didn't perform magnificently during all the emergencies that occurred.

The only point is that you lie. Two (not a bunch, like you stated) licensed and trained C.E. were temporarily deputized for the good of the community. When asked to back up your words you wouldn't, because you misrepresented the truth, or LIED. Stop Lying. As for your "Gary" obsession, keep to yourself. Who cares? Go wash his truck yourself. Nuts.

You lie and are hysterical. You failed to provide proof of your accusations, someone else supplied the records, which demonstrated you that you are not a reliable source of information, and a very poor secretary, too. Your fired! You really have a thing for this Gary fellow, don't you? Hysterical stalker type maybe?

The MBPOA is being destroyed by a small handful of people.

Im saying they dont need to carry guns to do their job. Nor do they need a gun to "protect" us because chances are, the VERY small amount of people that Gary allowed to carry guns, were no where near anyone that needed saving. Its fine for people to say "the police wont help you in an emergency" but god forbid if anyone says the village wont help you. In a nut shell, NO ONE in this village needs to carry a gun. Least of all Garys hired goons.

YOU said none were carrying guns. Then you try to back peddle and say only a few were. Spend less time sucking up to Gary for a raise and more time paying attention. We all know Gary let code enforcers who were new to the job and VERY inexperienced carry guns during the hurricane. YOU even know it. So why would I need to waste my time looking up in the meeting minutes (which dont even work any more on their web site) for this? Bottom line... state denied Gary his armed fire marshal. Deal with it! You seem to be having a hard time with this. Let it go, you cant carry a gun for Gary and pretend your "Kevin Costner" to his "Whitney Huston".(It may take you a few minutes, but Im sure you'll get it if you think hard enough.)

Awww Brady, Im sorry we're soooo evil that we wont give up the waterfront so Gary can develop it and destroy it so no one can use it. If that makes us "evil", fine.

I don't object to the civic defending the lawsuit. Go ahead, give it your best shot. You know I was originally against the village taking over the marinas, but that changed.

Too bad it is not your's to give up!!! It belongs to the residents of mastic beach and should of been handed over when the village took over!! I don't care a hoot about the waterfront but is does state that in the deed! If members did not agree with it they should of dealt with it long ago and not waited for the formation of the village! At this point everyone should have rights to it, not just a select few that want to belong to the property owners!!

So you want to give the waterfront over to a VERY small group, AKA village, who wants to sell it to developers to help pay for a village, but you dont care about the waterfront? MBV has the last undeveloped waterfront ON LONG ISLAND!!!! and you dont care what happens to it but the village should do whatever they want with it? Which unless you are completely stupid, you have to believe that the village WILL sell it off and have it developed. If you dont think that is the "vision" of MB, you are insane. If Gary and FRIENDS gets the waterfront, Developers WILL move in and build until the village gets enough money that they can say we are still "tax neutral".
