How does the school system replace all the principals but the bad one? Her scores are lowest in the county, her students are wild and uncontrollable because she doesn't discipline them or support her teachers discipline of them, and she has a horrible reputation for playing favorites.

Someone explain to me why she is still in charge?

Why don't you take your pity party to a school board meeting or call jerry and tell him who you are and what you think. What you put on here means nothing. It does make you look like the chicken poop that you are. If you don't have the guts to attend a meeting and voice your concerns then you need to keep your mouths shut.

Who do you want to take her place??? Many people have walked in those shoes and I think that they will tell you it is a very difficult job. It is the largest school in the county. I don't think that you are looking at the whole picture. If you have a complaint, why do you go talk with Mr. Strong instead of stirring rouble on here.

He who is in love with himself has no rivals. The only opinion that matters to Mr.Srong is his own.

you would be better off taking it to a your board members. I wouldn't try talking to J. Strong or J, McLerran or your child, if you have any at the k-8 would see a hard time.

The main problems at the k8 are that they don't really have anything to punish the students with and the parents go and whine to the school board over every little thing.

When the biggest punishment you can give a child is taking 15 minutes a way from them, what good is that.

I was told he is waiting until next year to change him because he has someone in mind already of the replacement. This person has a few ends to tie up with the job they are in involved in this year, so instead of giving someone the job for just one year he decided to play her out one more year with him pulling the reigns. The next person is capable and will make some changes at the school. A big heart, big personality, and VERY GOOD WITH PARENTS AND STUDENTS! It's a shame this person left Clay County after the first year they were there in first place. But there is going to be a return. I believer everyone will be shocked and happy at the same time.

She is out at the years end.
Thank god.

No one there can stand here anymore. She's insulted, degraded, and ran off so many people they are finally pulling the trigger and kicking her out.

Her days to treating everyone she views as below her like dirt are coming to an end in 4 months.

Amen to the Art teacher comment. Everybody knows they just gave him that until Jerry can fit him in elsewhere.

Ask the students at the JR High who the real teachers are. They will tell you which classes have teachers that make them work and treat them like young-adults and which classes let them doodle and let them sleep. My kid says half of her class goes to sleep in Science ever day.

A certified, experienced math teacher is badly needed at the Jr. High in Celina. These students are ready and willing to learn. They want to improve their math scores, but this very hard math needs someone other than an art teacher. K-8 does need an art teacher. We need to recruit a math teacher while using every media available. Improvement in our TCAP rankings and State Report Card Grade is first an obligation to the students, second, an obligation to the parents whose sales , income and property taxes provide the money to fund the Schools here. Poor decisions are so unfair to the education of our students.Third, our community cannot find employers who would want their children to attend our School. Beg back one of our retired teachers, demand employees who are certified in math to teach or,place math certified teachers already in the classroom to Jr. High. There are many bright students in grades7 and 8 and more who can learn well if only taught.

There were qualified people who interviewed and applied for that job. They do not want them, they wanted someone to coach football. Football is way more important that test scores to that school and to the entire school system. It is the most screwed up situation I have ever seen, every student in that school hates the principal. Even the honor students who never get in any trouble refuse to have anything to do with her because she is so nasty, and rude to everyone on a daily basis. She does not have the ability to speak to anyone without insulting them and making them feel uncomfortable. Things were not like that when Mr. Brawner was here.

Jerry Strong made the hire.
He says he cares about making the schools better and hiring better teachers and then he hires an art teacher to teach math to the kids. I hope that lousy football team is worth the futures of over a hundred students. They will get to high school and be so far behind the HS teacher won't be able to catch them up.
