Does anyone make lye soap here in the county? I hear it's good for turkey lice.

If you ever get turkey lice or turkey mites as I have heard them called you will not forget it. They are little bugs that bite you and leave a spot that will itch forever.

they are terrible...you sure don't want any. They tore my husband up and we had no idea what they were but he does now! He has had those spots since turkey season opened but they are better. USE THAT LYE SOAP!

Yes lye soap is great for hunters and so many other things. I get it for two dollars a bar from a lady here in Celina

Get some clear fingernail polish. This smothers them. Apply it as needed on each bite. It burns, but it works. They spread like wildfire. Once they are smothered, they can't go bite you anywhere else. 3 days later and you won't itch or have anymore bites.
