I'd hardly call this a "single incident". She was driving while her license was suspended for an OVI when this accident occurred.
Definition of the word "ACCIDENT"
1. An undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm
2. Any event that happens unexpectedly, without a deliberate plan or cause.
1. UNINTENTIONALLY -- She INTENTIONALLY got high on drugs
2. DELIBERATE -- She DELIBERATELY drove the truck
3. So where was the accident?
4. This was INTENTIONALLY DELIBERATE !!!

Okay I'll say it. The woman she plowed into was like ninety years old.
Six years seems good seeing as how the lady probably didn't have six years left anyways.
Huffing is retarded though. Do REAL drugs people, come on! What are we teaching our kids?

Ok Matlock
First of all this was involuntary manslaughter not aggravated vehicular homicide which would be like somebody road raging, running you off the road and you not surviving. Don't know how the judge came up with this charge. Secondly this was no different then a texting accident that resulted in a fatality or somebody running a stop sign or light resulting in loss of life all being accidents.

It was neither intentional or deliberate. Sorry your analogy is way off. If she appeals which she should her charge will be reduced, changed to a lesser charge. Our local judge likes to flood our jails and prisons with non-violent offenders. Just read our local paper. He is about as bad as the Oklahoma judge that gave a woman more then two years served who was recently released for selling an UC cop $31.00 worth of weed.

I'm not justifying her actions and my condolences go to the family who suffered the loss. I am against keeping non violent criminals in prison namely drug offenders wasting my tax dollars. Do you know it costs roughly 20k a year to house a single inmate? That's more then ALOT of Americans make yearly.

She was a clear and present danger to society with a habit that threatened all of us on the road. Texting? Are you serious?? Texting is not addictive. She and we are better off with her in the big house. BTW, the judge doesn't come up with the charge - the prosecutor, representing the people does.

First of all it was an accident. That doesn't make it ok that she was huffing. How about that guy from Ohio City that had 7 DUI's? You have a habitual offender vs a single incident that took the life of somebody.
Anybody that reads the VW newspaper knows that without drug charges our Judge Steele would be out of a job. I personally could care less if folks want to use drugs during there own time. I think prosecuting folks who use or sell drugs is a waste of my freaking tax dollar
So the guy from Ohio City has been busted for DUI 7 times. How many times do you think he has been driving while drunk? My guess a lot more than 7 times. How many times do you think this lady was driving while huffing? My guess is alot more than once. Fine if you want to get wasted on alcohol or drugs, go right ahead. Just stay the hell off the roads. People shouldn't have to die just so you can get wasted. I don't if you are one that uses or sells drugs but it is still against the law. But go ahead and use it if you do, but just stay the hell off the roads and destroy your own life, not someone elses.

Would you consider what Lisa did a mere accident if this were to happen to your family member ? I highly doubt it ! You would be the first one to hollar murder ! You sound like a disgruntled family member of Lisas, trying to cover her tracks, but we arent buying it Mr.!!

Yep, her teen girls are suffering, but, they are only suffering because of what their worthless p.o.s. of a mother has put them through since they were born. They would do good to never admit that she is their mother and get on with their lives without her ! She was never good to them, used them as live in baby sitters and house keepers and did all her drugs while they were present to see her do them. Good kids, let me tell u that, but very led astray by the one person, their very own mother, who was SUPPOSED to set the example of being a good person. My heart goes out too those girls and the 3 little ones. I hope they grow up and never remember who and what their mother is.

And who said the person had to be a sibling ? Could be anyone in her family. And possibly could not be anyone in her family. You are right on one thing, I know that 2 of her siblings are horrified in whats happened and are disgusted with her.

Looks like she ended up in prison December 3rd. She took a nice intake picture also.

Also to the genius want-a-be lawyer. The judge does not set the charge. That is done by the prosecutor's office.
